I like how this makes my beard feel. I have hard water and prior to beard oils it was a dried out brittle mess. Now with this beard oil not only do I really like how this leaves my beard nice and soft, my wife likes how it feels too, plus she loves the scent. These are definitely pluses in my book. With my wife liking my beard and wanting to be closer because it is soft and inviting, instead of uninviting (rough/dry/coarse), is definitely a good thing in my book.I have found, for me at least, that applying this to my beard after a good shampooing of my beard, while my beard is still damp works the best. The amount of oil I use depends on howI start by running a comb, not a brush through my beard, prior to applying the oil. I then begin applying the oil from the neck up and work it into the skin, through the whiskers and then out to the tips. I then repeat the process from the front of the beard. I usually will start at the tips or middle of the beard out to the tips, then move back to the cheeks out to the middle. I have found if I start with oil at the cheeks out to the tips the whiskers by the beard are extra oily. I prefer not to have that oily of a beard. A little sheen is nice, but looking like I lost a battle with a bucket of KFC, or haven't shaved in days, is not a good thing.Once the oil is applied I again run a coarse toothed comb through my beard followed by fine tooth comb. I find doing this helps distribute the oil more thoroughly through my whiskers.This is the procedure I follow with my current beard, approximately 7 - 8 inches long. If my beard was significantly shorter, say a 5 guard, I would follow this same procedure but use a boar brush instead of a comb.Some guys like to use a boar bristle brush to fluff up their beards. Personally I just don't want mine sticking out all over the place and oils help with that. I have tried balms, and they work well, but they take more time to apply. I still like them and they have their place, but I prefer oils to nourish my whiskers and for the sake of expediency.

I had set myself up for disappointment with this as my hopes were sky high. However, I am pleased to say that I Percy Nobleman Premium Beard Oil lived up to my expectations and more.First off, the scent of this beard oil is fantastic. It is reminiscent of Old Spice, but has its own unique appeal (it's definitely not a knock-off scent). I grew up thinking that Old Spice aftershave was the quintessential "manly" scent and so this brings me back to my childhood when I was eager to grow up into my idealized vision of manhood. Nostalgia is a powerful force and this product brought out my boyhood aspirations. That was a true surprise.Secondly, as a beard oil it performs wonderfully. It markets itself as a beard oil which functions like a balm. That is pretty accurate. Upon first use I did notice that it looked in my hand as a nicely rubbed thumbnail's worth of balm does. Once applied to my beard it became clear that this oil functions similarly to a balm. I was able to shape my beard just as if I had applied balm to it. Percy Nobleman Premium Beard Oil does not overstate its case. I like that.Thirdly, I am a big fan of the amount of oil that comes in the package. So far, at this price point, I've only had beard oils come in 1 oz containers, but the 50 ml (1.6 oz) bottle that this Percy Nobleman Premium Beard Oil comes in is quite generous.So to recap: it smells fantastic, the product functions excellently, and the amount of product delivered is ample. This is a great value. Do not hesitate to pull the trigger on purchasing it. Percy Nobleman has won me over!P.S.It also comes with a neat lapel pin. This is my second bottle gift from my wife. First had no scent which was fine. This 2nd bottle is scented but still unopened so no opinion on it. I am very neutral with opinion. Neither good or bad. Not sure I notice any benefit using oil one way or the other. Stating that I would recommend trying for oneself. Good company--very prompt with delivery and concerned with customer satisfaction. That alone makes me a happy consumer.

This beard oil works exactly as advertised. I have a very thick and coarse beard and this oil left it nice and soft. My only complaint is that it does not last all day and I find my beard dry and coarse again after 4 or 5 hours as compared to another brand of beard oil I use which will last all day.I did receive this beard oil at a discount in exchange for my honest review. Overall, I would recommend it. It does make my beard soft and it smells wonderful, better than most other beard oils I have used. I just wish it lasted longer throughout the day.

This is the best beard oil I used

I am fed up searching round for a decent beard oil . Most of which is supposed to leave your beard soft but instead it dries it out.Whatever oil reviews you read there is always some negative ones which I tend to look at first . Which kind of puts me off. So I thought I take the plunge and try this Percy nobleman premium oil . After trying this oil for about a week now . I think this is probably going to be my go to beard oil. It's got a very manly smell which my wife absolutely loves . ( Always a bonus ) After using it only a handful of times I noticed my beard is really really soft . And the oil also helps with the styling . I wash my beard in the shower put some oil on. Then blowdry my beard thoroughly . I noticed if you apply some more oil after blow drying . it helps it stay in place most of the day .I think this oil is an absolute must for any beardos out there .This was my first ever review .but I thought I had to write one. just on the quality of this beard oil and the fact that it is an absolute minefield out there. I hope you guys found it helpful

Im a barber by trade and use many styling products on a daily basis. Being bearded myself I get many enquiries on maintenance and styling of facial hair. Having tried several balms, waxes, shampoos and conditioners on my own beard it's been trial and error finding suitable products. This beard oil is one of them. I personally do not like the feel of balms in my beard and found their integrity failing after just a few hours with my beard returning to its naturally erratic state. This oil on the other hand appears to keep my beard fairly controlled without being artificially stiff and noticeably softer to the touch. I also have very sensitive skin and I'm pleased to report that this oil does not cause adverse reactions for me. Don't expect results straight away but within a week to ten days you will start to see a change and revel in watching your beard become more civilised.

Excellent beard oil - not too greasy, absorbs well and leaves beard with a fantastic shine. Doesn't take much, even on a very long beard (mine comes down close to my waist)! Not much of a scent to it - similar to standard percy nobleman the scent is a bit like fresh pencil shavings - but unobtrusive enough that it won't wind you up if you don't get on with it.

Great smell, nice thick consistency, goes a long way!Quite a strong scent when first applied but soon fades and leaves your bead smelling ohh so nice, would say one of the more masculine scents I've come across that I like, which I feel is hard to find.Much thicker than their standard oil, gives good hold and on a medium beard I have no need to use balm to keep shape with this oil. I basically would go for the premium very time now.Makes my skin feel awesome too.

I’m thoroughly impressed with this oil. I’ve been using the normal PN beard oil for a while but this is another level!Besides the fact that it smells fantastic, after using it for only three days I’ve really noticed a difference in how much softer and less crazy my beard is. It’s also the best hand moisturiser I’ve come across!The temptation is to use a lot but it really goes a long way so three to four drops in the palm are plenty.I’ll be buying this again!
