I am a "real" tea drinker and haven't found an herbal that I could tolerate (I developed a serious distaste for chamomile after a couple of years). A friend of mine from South America gave me a mixed box of herbal teas some years ago, and of the mix I found the Lemon Verbana to be the most flavorful without being radically different from standard tea. Now I enjoy it every evening with no fear of it spoiling my sleep. I can't really describe the flavor (except that it does taste of lemon) but if you have an aversion to herbal tea, you should really give this taste.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who has serious insomnia for years. It was actually recommended to me by a customer from work to try. At first I was skeptical because my friend and I have already tried several herbal remedies products and showed no results. But eventually I decided to go with it anyway because what if this could really work? So I went ahead and ordered the tea for her. She received it shortly and tried it out. Within the first week she was sleeping much better. Insomnia was still there but it was not every night. After two weeks we were getting a lot of good results.Basically my friend took the tea an hour to thirty minutes before bed and relax/ stay away from bright TV or phone screens and was able to fall asleep within 30 minutes. She told me the tea was smooth and felt incredibly soothing before bed time. Now I'm not sure if this will work for everyone who has insomnia, but if you have it I hope my review helps. She has been using the product since. Personally I'm not a big tea drinker but my friend told me it had worked amazingly for her so I might try it out for myself in the future.The only complaint is that this product IS very pricey (Why this product is 4/5 stars and not 5/5 for me). So I'm not entirely sure if I will stick with the brand or research other Lemon Verbena that offer better pricing.

Pleasant tasting tea. Bought this primarily for the rose hip content...the addition of the hibiscus helps improve the flavor. Gave it only 4 stars because the paper teabag seems a bit on the flimsy side because when squeezing the teabag while preparing my cup of tea, the tea leaves have broken through a few times. Just have to take care to gently squeeze out the teabag. Otherwise I'm enjoying this tea.

I had purchased lemon verbena tea on amazon a couple years age and it actually was decent tasting (not this brand) . I had experience growing my own lemon verbena plants so I had made tea with those leaves . I say this particular product does not taste even remotely like any lemon verbena tea I have ever had to drink . It has a flat woody bland unpleasant taste . Very disappointed and will not buy again .

Really subjective, I think this is a quality product, I'm just not all that crazy about the taste. We ALL have our own tastes, don't we? If you're looking at this product for healthy, therapeautic affects, then give it a try.
