Replacement Fuel Tank Gas Cap for Honda - Fits Accord, Civic, CR-V, Odyssey, Pilot, HR-V, Fit - Replaces 17670-T3W-A01

The item arrived earlier than expected. It was the real deal. I had lost mine and my mechanic told me to buy this one. I did and it was the perfect fit and like the real thing but much cheaper.

Fits a 2008 Honda Accord V6.

Gas Cap works as a genuine brand but the plastic attachment is somewhat short and can not be placed in the metal cover door.

My check engine light went on and the Honda dealer advised me to replace the fuel injectors for $2023 to turn it off. Since the car ran and idled perfectly, I decided to try less costly methods before shelling out 2 grand. Fortunately for me, replacing the gas cap did the trick. After a week and over 700 miles, my check engine light is still off. Removing the tether on the old gas cap and anchoring the new one was a little tricky, but there is a youtube video that can guide you thru it. The price was fair and shipping fast. I highly recommend this seller and his product.

In the beginning the gas cap was doing just fine. Later on in the months I'm not sure what happened. I thought I was having serious emissions issues. I ran a check on my car and two things could have been an issue. To do a process of elimination, I decided to recap my gas cap, ride around for awhile and then the notification engine light went off. So I figured out the problem that the gas cap wasn't sitting tight. But eventually it kept happening more and more frequently. So now I'm going to purchase a different gas cap in hopes the problem is resolved. If not, then I now have a bigger problem than the gas cap itself.

Same quality as OEM and much cheaper. The tether is very difficult to attach to the vehicle.

Does not work for Honda civic 2013

Was easy to hook up and install as the original using the tether to keep you from driving away without your cap.
