Tech Armor HD-Clear Film Screen Protector Designed for Apple iPad Pro 9.7 Inch (2016 and 2017) 2 Pack

After having this on my iPad Pro 9.7 for a few months, I can honestly say that it's holding up very well to daily use (reading ebooks, news, videos and some illustrations with the pencil). Like all large screen protectors, the key to success is applying the protector correctly and avoiding trapping dust. I got almost perfect alignment of the protector, the instructions that describe the best way to apply it are easy to follow, but I failed on this last part, capturing 4 small dust gains, but it doesn't bother me (much) and the protector is doing it's job of taking the abuse of use and regular cleaning. I've read the best way to apply the protector is to go into a small bathroom with a shower, close the door, get the room a little steamy by turning on the hot water/shower and then apply the protector (you don't need to overdo the steam/humidity since that can cause problems for the electronics). The dust in the air will collect water from the steam and be too heavy to float, so you'll have a DIY 'clean room' for a short time. However if you do try this, be very careful with electronics since many don't like condensing humidity and some may have a moisture exposure sticker inside that turns red when exposed to the high humidity which may void your devices warranty or worse, cause an electrical short in the device. Minimize the amount of steam in the room so mirrors just barely start to fog up and work quickly. I would also definitely turn off any electronics you try this with before going into the bathroom. I'd recommend researching this technique before you decide to try it. I am ok with the dust I captured since I didn't want to risk my new iPad.Finger prints do show up on the protector, but it doesn't appear any worse at showing finger prints than the unprotected screen. Wiping the screen regularly with a microfiber has not produced any scratches or blurry areas so it's holding up well. All the cutouts for the screen (home button, camera etc) align perfectly and the edges of the protector, when applied correctly, stop just short of the edge of the glass of the screen so you are less likely to "catch and lift" the protector during use (you do need to let the protector's adhesive backing "cure" before using it so the corners all stay put long term.I do also use the Apple smart cover so there's some extra protection from that too, I feel that the more protection you can have the better (without changing the feel or operation of the screens touch sensitivity). This protector does that nicely. There are 2 in each pack, and the cost is very reasonable, so adding this to an $800+ tablet is really a no-brainer!

I have owned 4 iPads so far (5 is you count my wife's Mini). On 3 of those 4, I have had to install screen protectors. This was, by far, the absolute easiest to install on my iPad. My runs at putting them on are hit or miss, so I am always glad to pick up a package with 2 protectors. However, it was not needed this time around.It was completely bubble free after laying it out on my screen. I was shocked. Proper prepping is paramount always, but I was genuinely surprised at how easily it fell in to place. There was no need to use the provided tool to smooth out bubbles. Absolutely perfect.The only con I can think of is this protector seems to have a little glare to it. But I have been partial to matte protectors, so it is not enough to warrant any stars to be taken off.If there is one thing I can say to anyone that is thinking about getting this film, it is the following. Make sure you have some glass cleaning wipes to clean it off first. There are no wipes in the package. For many, the microfiber cloth in the kit is enough. But after installing many many films, I go for overkill on the screen cleaning.Other than that, I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Bravo, guys. Well done!

I just wrote up a review for the same screen protector made by TechArmor for my iPhone 7 Plus and everything over there applies here as well; very reasonable price, comes with everything you need including 2 screen protectors in case you have an install problem (unlikely) or if you want to save one for later if your screen protector gets scuffed up (which is its purpose after all, sacrifice the screen protector to save your screen) also has a microfiber cloth, dust removal stickers (nice to have but unnecessary for most installs), plastic squeegee to remove air bubbles, and instructions with plenty of guidance online for additional help.I have found over the years that TechArmor has consistent quality, and you can't beat the price of this screen protector to save the screen on your iPad that costs hundreds of dollars.

I did have some trouble lining it up, but the installation was relatively easy. It's VERY important to follow the instructions regarding the reduction of dust prior to application. The dust bubble removal technique recommended works very well, however, it's really important to view the video demonstrating it since it seems somewhat strange. As for fingerprint resistant: well, I can't imagine how i could get any more fingerprints on it. But that doesn't really matter. The product fits well, and is invisible. I will purchase other products from this vendor.

I've been getting Tech Armor for a few years, not only for my new iPads but iPhones as well. Each time the installation has been easy as long as you follow the steps and apply the screen protectors in as dust free an area that you can get. The Tech Armor protectors really do protect the screen! Sadly I've dropped all my IProducts more then I can say and I have yet to even scratch any of the screens and have been able to sell all of my items as 'flawless' due to in part how well this protects the screens.

Feels even clearer and more zoomed in, somehow. I like it and my pencil is working well with it. Now I don't have to worry about my pencil ruining the screen. Was hard to align, though. The step 2 sticker should be on the opposite end so I have something to hold onto, instead of the edge of the screen to align the screen. I can't just work with one side of the protector when aligning. It doesn't stay steady that way.

But still works well even with my slight bodge job. They do supply all the tools and instructions to do it properly and I could probably have done a better job if I'd had more patience. I wasn't too bothered as I got it primarily to cover a cracked screen, which it does remarkably well. The touch screen seems to work perfectly too.

I wish I'd purchased this sooner, but...my daughter has ASD and ADHD and in a meltdown she threw her iPad on to the floor and cracked the screen in several places. Thankfully the iPad was still operational but now has sharp ridges.I purchased the screen protector on the off chance as I didn't really want to have to shell out for a new iPad. The screen protector was more than up to the job. I put it on and now have a fully working and safe iPad again. It provides a very good protection and there is no problems with the sensitivity through the plastic.Great for after the event, I just wish I'd had it on from the beginning - live and learn!

Very smudgy!! been using this with my iPad pro for a year now. I have to constantly keep cleaning the screen because I hate the smudges. this is the only reason I have given it 3 stars. hopefully it has protected the screen and there are no scratches. hasn't effected the screen's response at all, I use it constantly with the apple pencil. my iPad is like an extension of me!came as pair and I had to use both because the first was damaged with a little scratch when I applied it. contacted the seller for an exchange. they made it difficult by asking for pictures and it was too much of a hassle and I couldn't be bothered as I had the second to use anyway. fortunately haven't needed a replacement yet. would have appreciated better customer service from the seller.

This product is everything as advertised. I had someone else put it on my new iPad Pro 9.7 inch as I did not do so well with the 1st sheet that was wasted. Thank goodness there were 2 in package. You have to be very careful and exact in placing it on your screen. The protector has not reduced usability on the iPad at all and would not even realize it was on! I am pleased!

I've attached quite a few screen protectors in my time, and this is the first one I actually was able to put on without any bubbles or even lint. I used to think that a protector is a protector, but they are not all created equal and buying the cheapest one out there will only get you what you paid for. I will gladly pay extra for this type of superb quality.One trick is to spritz the screen with water before attaching the film.
