This works wonderfully with my KitchenAid Artisan mixer. It is easy to clean by hand. Materials seems sturdy! My favorite part is that the items store easily in the original box without taking up a lot of space- definitely nice for those of us with a small kitchen space!

I absolutely LOVE this slicer! I have no idea why I haven't purchased this product before now. No more hand shredding blocks of cheese! This is easy to use, easy to clean, and works great!

For a long time, every time I would get out my hand grater to grate carrots or cheese or slice cucumbers-- while trying not to injure my fingers in the process -- I would think, "There are better ways to do this. I should find one.Well, this is one of those better ways. Far better. And it works even better than I was expecting. I love this thing. It's surprisingly quick to set up (it takes just a few seconds, especially if your KitchenAid mixer is already sitting on your countertop, as is common). This is also easier to clean than I was expecting. Rinsing it with very hot water (or hot soapy water) does the trick. I haven't even had to use the cleaning brush that came with it. Each of the four grater inserts works well, and grates as you would like. The whole process, from set-up to grating to cleaning is very quick and easy -- much quicker, in fact, than hand-grating. And a WHOLE LOT easier.

So convenient! Only negative is the softer the cheese, the easier it gets stuck in the blade. But still worth it…fresh grated cheese is so much better than pre-packaged! Plus this saves money!

Why did I wait so long? I've been slicing by hand or with a mandolin. I am now buying quality cheese and grating it in a few seconds for quality, delicious cheese! Veggies done in seconds. No grating my fingers anymore. Wish I bought this years ago!

I'm mad I didn't buy this earlier. I opted for a food processor and the attachment broke after a while. This shreds cheese so easily, I have less "waste" with cheese that gets missed. There was a small amount that got squished between the blade and casing but it wasn't much, and a fun snack lol. It cleaned easier than expected.

Very easy to use works great and great price

These is my 3rd slicer, shredder attachment for my Kitchen Aide. I really hope this one works longer than the other two I purchased.
