My 12 year old son had wanted to try out baseball so I got the cheapest equipment (not knowing if he'd stick to the sport). On first use of the bat, with a real baseball, every time we hit the ball, the bat dented! I am female and my son is only 12 so we were not hitting the ball particularly hard! The bat now has significant dents all over it from every time we hit the ball. We are still using it but are deliberately just hitting the ball gently so as not to completely destroy the bat! We got size 32" as are both tall - it was advertised as an adult bat but it's really only a children's toy. You couldn't play a real baseball game with it unless your entire team were weaklings. The bat has survived 2 weeks but only because we're being very gentle with it - not ideally how you want to treat a baseball bat! I shall re-review if the bat dents to an unusable shape but it's fine for now.
