OK but not their best toy
Prompt delivery and it looks great (received the blue version, which has a lovely shape to it and is the pick of the colours)So far, all fine and looking like another good toy from Hexbug. However, once in motion the problem starts - not a good sign for something like this. The sensors are a nice touch and do work and the motion of the legs is good. The issue is that the set of legs on the right move faster and slightly further than the left meaning that the beetle basically scurries around in small circles, which spoils what would have been a great toy. Shame.

Very disappointing
Switch broke almost immediately. And now bug doesn't work at all - even if use a needle to switch on and off. Toy moves slowly. Legs gets tangled up with each other. This product needed further development before it went on the market. Not a good buy at the moment.

Funky but delicate. Expect it to get wrecked.
Gave to a boisterous 7yr old for birthday last month. Before long, it was found that one of the pins was not secure, and needed to be pushed back in. Unsure if this was kids fault or not, it still works and he enjoys it, so am treating it as regrettably slightly disposable: not really worth sending back, not likely to last that long. By comparison he has had the little hex bugs for several years and they are all okay, if a drain on battery costs to the parents as they are used A LOT. I wouldn’t buy this again, too delicate for a kid who would be at the age to enjoy it.

Upset, it died very fast :(
Very excited to get this for the cats. It looks good the way it moves and the cats were interested. But in that first day I replaced the batteries 3 times and then it ultimately died, never to move about again. It's a bit expensive too and I hoped it would last, but no so it was given a nice burial :(

Don’t waste your money.
One leg broke after first use, my grandson is autistic and wanted it repaired, and wouldn’t let us send it back, so he’s stuck with an item that won’t work. Save your money would be my advice.
