Solid construction and attractive. Kids like that it is the perfect size table and chairs for them. Easy assembly.

So I bought the white Kidkraft Nantucket table, bench, and two chair set in June 2011 for my two year old twins. They've used it almost everyday since. They are now almost five and the table is still perfect for them.The set is very sturdy. A normal sized adult could easily sit on them and a larger than average adult can sit on the bench/chairs for short periods of time. The kids have painted on it, ate on it, and played on it. They've stood on the chairs, lay on the table, ridden the chairs backwards as they fell over. At one point I asked Kidkraft about replacement parts. Kidkraft was very interested in why they were needed so shortly into the lifespan of the product. I just told them about my kids' favorite game of riding the chairs like a horse while they were balanced on two legs and other abuses the set suffered and I received some parts in the mail the next week. It turns out the parts weren't really even needed. We just tightened up all the parts again, added a little wood glue at stress points and they've been just fine since. I admit we could have taken better care of the paint finish, but the nicks and few scraped off spots definitely weren't the manufacturer's fault. This set has performed admirably. I feel that I can rely on it to be exactly what you want in kids furniture: almost indestructible while being cute.Edit:My kids are five now and the only thing that has changed is that the two of them have a little more trouble sharing the bench. Mostly because they fight and try to push each other off. My 8 and 10 year old nieces (slightly short for their age) have also used this table while visiting and had no problems.

Nice set for the price. I ordered these for my 19 month twin girls. They were so thrilled with it and they use it on a daily basis. We keep it in an open area between the kitchen and living room. They eat their snacks on it, play puzzles and do some coloring. Two kids can comfortably fit on the bench, however my girls prefer to sit separately. We've had the set for about 3 months now and it's holding up very well. There are a few minor dings, but nothing I would not expect from any furniture that gets the daily abuse from two toddlers. I can't say this set is top quality, but for the price, it's a pretty good value. Oh, I do want to mention that putting it together was not that simple as a lot of reviews mentioned. The instructions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow. However, there were two chairs where the holes did not match up quite right and took me ages to figure out how to put the pieces together. My husband stepped in after I was struggling for over an hour, and he had some trouble as well. Total hours, probably about 2 or 3. If I didn't have the issue with the holes lining up, then it probably would have taken me about 1 to 1:30 hours by myself.

Arrived the same week we ordered it and only did the amazon prime shipping. When it arrived, I was afraid it would be damaged because there were 3 holes (one very large) in the box. But nothing was damaged- just where there was a gap between the box and styrofoam packing.The directions were simple, easy to follow. All the parts were sent, and all of them were drilled great (unlike another kidcraft product we also bought and recently put together). It took my husband and I about 15-20 minutes to put together, but it could have easily been done by one person. The quality is great- sturdy, everything is level, nothing wobbles. It is just heavy enough that I'm confident it will last, but light enough that my 2 1/2 yo daughter and 13mo son can pull the chairs out by themselves. It is the perfect size for kids! My husband sat at one of the chairs for breakfast this morning with my daughter- it held him just fine. The bench is big enough for 2 bigger kids- my skinny minnies have plenty of room between them! It wiped down great- the surface is nice and shiny smooth.The only downfall I see is the stickers numbering the parts were hard to get off and I'll have to use WD-40 or goo gone to remove the sticky part. Obviously not a deal breaker and doesn't affect the quality of the product!!

Purchased for 3 little girls! They color and eat all meals at this table almost everyday! The washable crayons and markers come off pretty good! The size of the table and chairs is perfect for 3 or 4 kids! Two kids fit fine on the bench. Actually purchased because of the bench. We needed that 4 th seat for occasions. It is a lightweight table. Can easily move to a different room when needed! The kids carry the chairs easily to another location when needed. Purchase this table to be used! When the table arrived the table top corner was smashed a bit from delivery but we didn't open it right away so we never shipped it back. We just pushed that corner toward the wall. I would say that it is a cheaper table but perfect for a table that you want kids to use for crafts! Looks great in our kitchen the rectangle size fits perfect in a corner! We even added everyone's names with cute stickers on the back of the chairs and bench. We use it everyday and would buy this table again!
