REEFWomen's Stargazer Thong Flip Flop

Not exactly what the missus wanted but I'd already ordered and sent back Reef Ginger flipflops and didn't want a blanket Amazon ban 😀. Anyway should have kept the Reef Ginger as the straps are fabric and don't rub. These stargazers have a rubberised strap and did rub my missus' feet. I'll probably reorder the Ginger ones. The sole seemed much more cushioned on the Ginger as well. That's enough flipflop talk.

This is my second pair of Reef flip-flops and I'm quite fussy about them because I usually have a problem with toe posts. Fortunately these are slightly oval-shaped as opposed to round so fit well between the toes without rubbing and causing blisters. I have a narrow-ish foot and these are a perfect fit....they might be a bit too tight if you have a very broad foot.

I was looking for a pair of flip flops to replace my last pair of Reefs which lasted well over 10 years! I chose these as I wanted reefs again and these had very good reviews apart from the odd few. They arrived very quickly but unfortunately were very small, narrow and extremely uncomfortable so I had to send them straight back. I am gutted and have no idea which flip flops to try next!

I am a Reef fan and have bought several pairs of their flip flops. They are cushioned and extremely comfortable as well as offering a range of lovely designs. However I bought a pair last April and after relatively little use they broke, really disappointed as this is not what I have come to expect from Reef.

As per other reviewers, they are very narrow. I have narrow feet, so they do fit but without any extra around the sides (which I prefer). I do not find them uncomfortable, but they are a fairly heavy flip-flop and not nearly as comfortable as my previous Reef flip-flops. On the plus side, I do like the spangly top/thong.
