TimberlandEk Larchmont Ftm_Chelsea, Mens Boots

Complete rubbish. The heel fell off after 3 months of occasional use. Amazon don't make it easy to complain even though they fulfilled the order. Complete diagrace. Still not been able to contact Amazon.

I got 2 different sized shoes, even though they said 8 UK. The shoes looked well scuffed, did not even look new and looked quite flimsy. I have a feeling these are seconds or something. I have a pair of Timberlands for 10 years and they are still good, but these look cheap, all China made also. Returned anyway, was disappointing. Terrible quality, but I'm not sure if they are genuine.

I've worn these every day for the past week so I can give a better review. To be fair, I knew they would be comfortable and a good fit as I had tried them on in a store before ordering them. But the two biggest new pluses for me were - they never "sucked" my socks into the boots like my other chelsea boots sometimes do, and the bottom of my jeans never got caught on the little canvas loop at the back like it does with other boots, so the boots always stayed under the trouser legs. The only minus is - they scratch a little too easily but light scratches disappear after polishing.

Cannot give these boots enough praise.Initially I ordered from prime, the item arrived perfectly on time as suggested. When I ordered I had an additional discount code from amazon fashion which made these boots around the £80 mark. This was considerably cheaper than elsewhere and so was a bargain.In terms of looks, they look exactly like the picture, they are made from a very sturdy leather which I am sure will last a very long time. They also have a very significant tread on the bottom.Fortunately I had done a fair bit of research on the sizing and opted to go 1/2 a size smaller than my UK size, this was a perfect fit and I would recommend anybody going 1/2 a size lower. The perfect fit meant that these boots are very comfortable (after a little bit of wearing in).All in all a great allrounder that can be used on a variety of occasions.

This is my 4th pair of Timberland Chelsea boots which fit me perfectly, but I can never remember the name of the style I like - Larchmont or Stormbucks? So Amazon Prime Wardrobe was perfect - order both and see which looks identical to my old pair. Never used this service before but worked perfectly. The soles give them away once opened and so I sent the Stormbucks back and kept Larchmont, which also happened to be on sale. So even cheaper than last year! Job done.

These are loveley boots...BUT I got suede rather than the brown leather ones selected for a formal meeting at work. I wore them as it was too late to return them and didn't want to go to the interview with the old pair of rather tired boots I had (i.e falling apart). The suede is not suitable with formal wear, but still a great boot.

Bought as a present. Came as shown in picture and description. Fit as expected and he says they are very comfy and really light weight. The only down side I can see is the where the sole is stiched and glued to the upper part is a little messy and not 100% if the sole will come away in a short amount of time.

The boots arrive just in time for my holiday, I didn't inspect them when they arrived (my mistake). I noticed there was surplus glue on the joint between the sole and upper and on the elastocated panel on the inside of the right boot, there was also damage to right toecap. In my opinion they are either seconds or fake.
