Super
Magnifique illustration pour ce livre en anglais qui fera progresser votre enfant.Mais fille de 10 ans adore ce livre. Elle l'a lu et relu. Les mots sont simples et amusants.je recommande (pour les enfants qui parle un peu anglais, pas les grands débutants).

Cute as a button; educational to boot!
A trip to the art museum is right up Fancy Nancy's alley -- she gets to see masterpieces! The whole class gets a gentle lesson on what a gallery is; the difference between a still life, a landscape and a portrait; and what it is like to go on a field trip.I was especially charmed by Nancy's art teacher, Ms. Glass, the epitome -- that's a fancy word for best -- of a great teacher. She wears earrings that look like miniature Alexander Calder mobiles and a smock over her dress decorated with an artist palette and the giant word "Art" on her back. She is kind and funky and listens to kids when they have a tummy-ache on the bus.Nancy herself is as cute as ever, not only in her girly outfits but also with her boundless enthusiasm. She likes to use big "fancy" words, and French words, too: "'Merci,' I say. That's French for 'thank you.'" At the end of the book is a list of all the fancy words used in the story, with their definitions.Like the other Fancy Nancy titles, the cover has glittery sparkles on the artwork and letters.

Fun story, easy to follow and my daughter loves.
I have a 10 year old with special needs and she likes books a lot, I like when they are easy to understand. We discovered Fancy Nancy and she lights up when we read about her plus the words are not hard to say or learn. This book is super cute, it teaches a the kids some "fancy" words and explains what they mean in a way that's easy understand. Her visit to the museum was fun till she ran into a problem that didn't make her feel to well. Her teacher worked with her to come up with an answer and made things much better for her. I like this lesson very much, it shows that it's o.k. when things don't go perfect. (I won't tell you too much so I don't spoil it for you) We adore this story!

Another cute Fancy Nancy story
I was looking for some early reader books for my daughter, and was happy to find an I Can Read book featuring one of her favorite characters, Fancy Nancy. We love the original Fancy Nancy book, as well as the one about the Posh Puppy. This book, Fancy Nancy at the Museum, isn't as good as a story as the other ones we have read. It does fit the bill as an I Can Read book, and has, of course, the wonderful illustrations. I just didn't care for the story as much, and I don't think my daughter did either.

8 and 6) enjoy this cute book
My daughers (11, 8 and 6) enjoy this cute book! The sentences are more simple, but the words are big and challenging at times. Go with the "My First" I Can Read! books for emerging readers...the level 1 is for kids who can already read well.
