IBDcontrol gel - warm pink - 56 g / 2 oz

I've used the IBD builders and I liked them. When polygel by nail harmony came out I switched becuase I liked the way the product worked better than runny builders. I decided to try this and I LOVE THIS STUFF!!! I am a professional nail tech and working with this product is a breeze. It's easier to shape and file than polygel too. Doesn't stick in the files and it is a much finer powder when filing. I've been using it for a month and my three week clients have come back with NO lifting. I'm sold. Switching over my entire hard gel line. It's good stuff.

UPDATE:Very very impressed with this polygel!I was hesitant to try another brand but IBD has a great reputation -I thought there has to be something better out there for the do it yourselfers. All the brands I've tried only lasted 2-3 days and start lifting or I had to wear gloves to do everything and they still lifted.Wished I would have bought this before trying the other brands.It's important to prep and clean your nail bed thoroughly, apply a good UV/LED base gel polish thenI apply the control gel using 99% isopropyl alcohol as my slip solution, dabbing my brush slighty after on a paper towel then use brush to shape polygel. You want your brush wet, but not dripping wet. If the polygel starts to look too "grainy" when you're brushing then you need to use more slip solution. Let it clear up and self level a bit before putting in lamp. Your nail with uncured polygel should look nice and glossy before putting it in the lamp if it's properly applied.I like how easy the polygel is to apply to nail forms, way easier to shape than other brands.I used to have to use a dual forms or fake nail to get a proper shape.Shape with a nail file or an e-file for a nice smooth nail. Clean your filed nails again with isopropyl alcohol on a LINT FREE pad.*I still use a base coat OVER the polygel for added durability, add color gel and then top coat.Wish this was available on Amazon.caI used Bio Seaweed LED/UV gel base, color and top coat.I did 4 different syles of nails on myself with only 1 fill in between from growth of this brand with out any lifting that's how good this stuff really is. I WONT buy any other brand now.

I’m not a pro, I just love doing my own nails. And this control gel is the easiest to work with! If I accidentally put it over cuticles, I just push it back with a brush dipped in rubbing alcohol. I could never achieve such great results with building gels or other brands’ polygels. It’s great for using with dual forms, too. And it’s very long lasting.In the picture, I used Warm Pink close to cuticles and Cold Pink on the rest of the nail.

I just started doing my own nails (acrylic and dip) a few years ago, so I am not an expert. I have been using Polygel for about 6 months. I ordered a dozen different brands, and this one had the best performance. IT IS NOT STICKY and gooey like other brands. It took me less time by half re-doing the white and clear overlay on my pink and white nails. I also LOVE this white. It has a softer tone. I will stick with this brand from now on.

It took 5 stars at first for being the hands down best polygel I have used. So much easier to work with and holds its pre-cured form amazingly well, giving you time to form more than just one nail at a time. Other brands have needed cured after each nail due to the fluidity of other polygel brands like Modelones and Beetles. After applied, it lost a star because of color. The warm pink is more like a natural nude color, definitely not pink like I expected, the color sample was off for sure! No big deal as I easily covered it with gel polish and sealed it with IBD's Intense Seal top coat. The integrity of the finished nail feels a lot sturdier than other brands but we shall see how the single IBD nail I did compares to the other 9 modelone nails (I broke one so I decided to give IBD a try! Great chance to compare brands further!)
