Rocket Science

The Baby's Big World series is one of those board book series that I wish was around when my kids were very young. While my kids are too old for these books, I have many nephews and nieces who are enjoying these books when I babysit them. These books are an absolute delight to read and are great for toddlers to learn complex concepts in simplified form. The Rocket Science book covers some of the parts of a rocket, explains how a rocket works, and what the future possible holds with what we've learned about rockets. It's very simplified so young kids get engaged without being overwhelmed, and the book is full of bright and cheerful imagery that's appealing to kids. The board book is very well made with thick sturdy pages, and is perfect for little hands to practice turning pages with. This is a great book series to introduce to your children and a fun introduction to complex concepts that may bud into an interest in STEM education as your children grows.

The Rocket Science board book is a basic introduction of rocket science for kids. The book starts with a diagram of a rocket and briefly (one sentence for each part) describes the parts. The book touches on how fast rockets could go in the past compared to now and there are two pages which describe rockets which go into outer space versus rockets that travel the earth. I like this book as it tackles the big topic of rocket science in a kid friendly way. I also like that there are both boys and girls on each page, as science tends to be a male dominated field. The illustrations are fun and whimsical, but serve an important purpose of teaching about rockets. The board book itself is sturdy and is a nice size. Some board books can be either way too small or on the opposite end, cumbersome. But this is just right. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book for young kids.

Learning about rockets will also open their minds to other aspects of science.The book is part of the “Baby's Big World” series, which are hard copy books with hard cardboard pages that kids love to handle. These books introduce kids to concepts they should know. The books have simple, easy to understand text which is brief on each page and is to the point. The art work is colorful and humorous.

You never know what little ones are going to be fascinated with. It shows the different parts of a rocket and how a rocket works and what different rockets do. This is a cute book, the babies inside represent ethnic and gender diversity. This is a good one to add to your baby's library.

I really like this series of books! Such a great idea to introduce the little ones to big concepts like rocket science! This book does a nice job of explaining rocket science in kid terms without making it boring or seem educational. The colors are super bright and the illustrations are cute and detailed enough for the kids to understand what they are reading about. This is one of those books that will easily grow with them.Definitely recommend these books! They're cute and educational without being boring!
