Shadows of Self

I bought this series for my wife after I listened to them in audiobook format. She loves it and they would make a fantastic gift for anyone who is even remotely into fantasy or action novels. Big recommend!

The book is great, but the packaging isn't. One of the corners on the back of the book was bent when it arrived. And it wasn't due to the transport as the envelope was so tight it wouldn't allow it. It had to occur at packaging. It's a small thing, but that's not how it should be.

A great series continuation from a great author. For fantasy fans a must read.

Preferred the original 3, but the extended/later time period of the novels is still very well written and crafted, making for a great read

Excellent roman, meilleur à mon avis que le tome précédent "The Alloy of Law". L'auteur met en avant Wax et Wayne bien sûr (toujours aussi sympa, ce Wayne), mais aussi Marasi et les kandras. Et les kandras sont carrément fascinants.L'histoire est bien menée et nous tient en haleine : un tueur se promène en ville en liberté et se cache sous une fausse identité. Mais sous quelle identité? Nos héros ont bien du mal à le débusquer, et la tension monte.L'écriture et le style sont parfaits, l'histoire s'intègre parfaitement dans le monde de Mistborn, il y a même quelques touches d'humour avec ce gredin de Wayne.C'est du pur Sanderson. Du grand art, tout simplement.
