McGraw-Hill Education Practice Makes Perfect: Intermediate Spanish Grammar, Premium Second Edition

This book has lots of practice exercises to improve your grammar and writing in Spanish. It also includes an answer key at the back so that you can assess your answers. Highly recommended especially if you are planning to study Spanish on your own.

You should buy it. Explanations of different aspects in terms of grammars and word usage is amazing. Contains excellent exercises too!

Well laid out and practical advice

OK, I have been learning Spanish for a while so this book should be about my level. The app that comes with the book is not good, it wouldn't install on 2 of my devices, is chunky to use and it gives 2 of the the same answers for a question, you have to guess which one is correct. It is also confusing in the answers it gives. I not sure the author is a native English or Spanish speaker as some of the things in the book don't sound correct. For a second edition I would have thought there would be less errors in the book. I expected better from this book. I have almost finished this book and I have to say it is confusing in it's example. I couldn't recommend this book. Spanish Verb Tenses is a far better book.

This book has really, helped with my Spanish and the progress

It’s a great intermediate book, filled with practice exercises and covers needed grammar, however, some exercises ask for the use of vocabulary that’s a little rare and requires external looking up, though not much and I actually enjoy doing that...it just slows the process of the exercises. My concern is that there are errors in answers; some are depicted only in the app, but correct in the back of the actual book. This is not huge, again, but that along with inconsistencies, causes a need to warn future purchasers. Otherwise, the book is really perfect for the level indicated, and I am buying the advanced book, from the same author and publisher. I do recommend it, just be tolerant of very minor issues...cannot expect things perfect in a second release. I do love the phone app companion, making it much quicker to check answers.
