Love this, 2nd one I have purchased and this time it was on sale for even less. It has lines for writing on and cute clip art through out. We use it as a guest book, and journal at our lake home. Perfect to go with our nautical decor. Highly recommend!

It seems that every time I order an illustrated journal from Amazon, there's a reviewer who says that the drawings or uneven lines make it essentially impossible for an adult human to write in it. I recommend that those people take a second to look up the journal on the Chronicle Books website, which shows examples of the pages, or even Google Images can usually provide some help. If you have such strict requirements of an illustrated journal, maybe you should even consider buying one in person.This journal is so, so good lookin'. It's also bigger than I thought it would be, which is a bonus.

The paper quality is recycled and it is good. The drawings inside each page are very good and cute. But the lines are not equal. Of course it is still easy to write, just it is not comfortable.
