I haven't used the brick but I would suspect it would be as good as the wood. My granddaughter and I had tried to make wood-like marks for doors prior to ordering this. They really didn't come out very well. With the wood mold, it took a few times to get to applying the correct pressure over all of it to make it come out correctly but in the end, they came out great!

It does what it's supposed to. It's smaller but you can arrange it so it covers a larger piece of fondant. It's tricky though and requires time. Also there are 2 small circular marks I'm guessing from the mold they were injected in to be manufactured. Not a huge deal for me, but I'm not a professional baker. Maybe for professionals this would be a deal breaker. Does not stick to the fondant, you have to make it thick enough and put a lot of pressure on it. I used the rolling pin while holding it down. Overall very happy with the purchase. I hope I get to use the other mold soon too.

I liked the detail and ease of the product in designing and authentic looking pattern. This particular set isn't very wide but works well. If you are doing a larger tier then you may want to check out their other sizes. All products shipped and arrived super fast.

Not sure what this item is called but it worked great for my son's spiderman theme birthday treats.(i used modling chocolate instead of fondant with this product and i only used the wall textured one.

I was so excited when i got this kit!!! I am a cake decorating instructor and this kit is perfect for both me and my students who are starting to work with fondant and gumpaste. Every piece is grouped together (by use) and in plastic. This kit has everything you need to start making fondant and gumpaste decorations. Fondant tools, roller, cutter and smoother. A variety of plungers and even funky tabbit letters! It also has the perfect cutters to make beautiful roses. The plungers are: snowflakes (think a frozen theme cake) stars, calayxs, hearts, daisy, blossom, leaves, and sunflowers. There are so many cool things in this kit i may have forgotten something. I received this product at little to no cost for my honest review on how well I liked the product, I don't get paid for any of my reviews just trying to help whoever is interested in buying this texture mold. You receive a two piece set one of a brick wall and the other of tree bark, I truly love both of these for I do a lot of cake decorating and both are great mats. I used the tree bark covering my board with fondant and then placing the mat on top up side down and rolling it with a rolling pin to get the impression, once I placed my cake on top it just made the whole cake look finished. Will be re-ordering many more textured mats.

I used the brick pattern for ceramic plant pots. The depth of the impression is perfect for what I needed. The size of the sheet is small, so it took some trial and error to get the pattern to line up when combining multiple stamps for larger areas. The material is sturdy and works great on clay. The main issue with the product is that it's not perfectly square. The bottom edge was curved and forced me to make adjustments once it was stamped into clay. Much of the process was spent fixing what could have been avoided if it had straight edges.
