replace that stinking pull starter and get one of these
every pull starter I've had on a nitro is broken. get one of these and be done with it. get the starter shaft and you can buy the starter or just by the starter shaft and use a drill but ditch that pull starter.

Works great and durable when installed correctly
Been holding up great on my Traxxas 3.3 Slayer. I have about 4 tanks of Nitro since installed. Don't forget to put a little blue Loc Tite on the screws during installation

Does not work with my current setup, fits motor but does not start it
