The Collected Peter Pan

I work in education and like to have a variety of classics to hand. This edition is particularly beautiful, without the dust cover it looks elegant on the shelf and the type is clear and easy to read. Standard sized to other Oxford classic editions for uniformity on the shelf.

The front cover was torn so had to throw it away and the pages inside were turned over but wrapped up now as xmas is too close.

Overall the pages of the book are in good shape and the book arrived without any damage. However, it did arrive with somewhat sticky smudge marks/fingerprints as if the person who handled it and or packaged it had just been eating or something then handled the book. This is a gift for my child for their birthday so being a bit grossed out by these smudges is an understatement but a lightly dampened cloth helped to clear the smudges and a brief moment of disinfecting and the book is fine.

Great book but a little hard to follow at first. I always wanted to read the original version it is dark not like the fluff of modern interpretation
