What happened?
Lovely cup. Didn't get a saucer!

The outsourced Royal Albert
My original Royal Albert pieces were made in England. This new piece was made in Indonesia. Whereas The pieces look good on the initial cursory inspection, this cup teaters slightly on the saucer. However, the ones from England were flawless. I will note that the English pieces were manufactured in 1962. Whether it's the place of manufacture or modern methods versus the method 40 years ago, I couldn't say. If you aren't put off by the slight lacking in precision, the new pieces should do alright by you. If you want perfection, hold out for the old British made ones.

If you're going to sell fakes don't charge the higher price
This item looked great, it is not made in Staffordshire like the real Royal Albert, but in Indonesia. Unfortunately they charge the same price.

TEA CUP ONLY?
My mom loves her new tea cup. But, this is for the TEA CUP ONLY. A saucer did not come with the tea cup I ordered. Not sure if it was a mistake, or if it was meant to be that way.

The teacup is beautiful. However
The teacup is beautiful. However, the listing is misleading. When a product is shown as a teacup with saucer, you expect the teacup with the saucer. Nope. My dad just received this, and it is only the cup. The seller needs to make it CLEAR in the listing that though they show the cup with the saucer (and even show a detail photo of the saucer alone), that you won't be receiving one.
