Strong, good price, good art project.
Love this thing to death. Painted it myself and I highly recommend any deck from bamboo skateboards (I also have 3 skate decks and and am about to get a longboard deck from these guys). Mine did come with a sand blasted grip on the top which changed my art plans but I couldn't find any clear grip tape for this thing anyways unless I wanted to waste a bunch so it was a nice convenience. Stuck these on some decent mini cruiser trucks from a penny board knock-off (that had a sketchy bendy plastic deck) with my bushings of choice (soft, and if u also use soft you might need an 1/8" riser), some penny wheels I got on clearance at a Vans store and some Bones super reds bearings (great price on amazon). Very rigid for it's size and it hardly bends when I step on the middle or use the kicktail (I'm about ~140lbs). This thing is perfect for building a non-plastic mini cruiser or replacing the deck of a weak knock-off penny board. In my opinion it's cheap enough to make a budget cruiser but also good enough quality to go all out and even dress it up in full penny (though this might cost you more than an actual penny board), and if you're feeling artsy like I was this little guy is a great way to express yourself which is part of being a skater!

Makes a great mini eboard.
Took apart an extra electric skateboard I had and moved the trucks and battery over to this deck so I can have a more compact board. It’s become one of my favorite eboards because it’s so light and small. I have a smaller 17” electric skateboard but it’s harder to use because it’s so short that my back foot keeps missing the deck. This board from Bamboo feels just right for squeezing through city crowds on the sidewalk. The tail makes it easy to pivot quickly to make tight turns. The clear grip works, no slippage so far.

HIGH QUALITY DECK
Board is awesome, super high quality, thought I was getting a steal but than i realizee it is a 22 inch deck shouldnt be hard to make a high quality one at this price.got it to replace my stereo vinyl remix which had formed a crack on the bottom didnt wany to have it snap while crossing a street or something, the remix is an extra wide 22 inch penny style board. Comparing it to this board its not much wider actually. This board unlike many other 22 inch boards has concave, which helps a ton for hitting insanely sharp u turns in narrow spaces. I find also compared to other penny style boards this is way more stable. If your one of those types that can smash on a penny with no issues than this board will be a dream, it's currently my favorite cruiser, riding with globe slants 5.0 and 60mm shark wheels.UPDATE: added photos after a weeks use everyday for short one mile trips. The board is durable, twice came out from under me smashed into curb no chips.

This is a nice little board!
I bought this deck to replace a plastic knockoff penny deck and its definitely an upgrade, its the same size but much more rigid it has a nice weight to it and it feels solid when cruising around. I would recommend using some riser pads I haven't gotten any wheel bite but with penny size trucks and wheels there is less clearance than i would like. 4 stars because my board came with 2 or 3 hairline cracks along the top layer of the deck but after riding it around my university for about two days the cracks have gotten noticeably bigger, with me being 5'10, 170 lbs I should be within the weight tolerance of the board

Great board for commuting
I don't know about other people but this deck is great for me. I'm 5'6/180lbs and wear size 11 shoes(look at my pics if you need a size reference). I don't have any issues with balancing and I love that the board doesn't flex. I tried other boards, but I feel they might break. I think my trucks are 160mm and I put 62mm wheels on it. Commuting with a longboard is better imo but it's a hassle to store or when your walking in a store or up hill, you start to notice the weight. This bamboo board feels so much lighter in comparison. I love hooking it to my backpack when not in use because it's so light. If this breaks in the future, I will be sure to purchase another board from you guys.

This probably isn't going to be your favorite cruising deck
It's 'twitchy' due to the short size, and the narrow deck makes me feel relatively unstable compared to my other boards. This probably isn't going to be your favorite cruising deck.I got this board for travel though, and it was an absolute pleasure to explore Japan for two weeks on it. I could easily carry it in the most crowded trains in Tokyo and then glide through streets/sidewalks easier than a bicycle. It's amazing turning radius was very helpful, and pumping/carving is a simple joy. The grip and 'feel' of the board is so much more organic and confidence-inspiring than those plastic penny/nickel boards, although with my skill-level, I still wouldn't try any fast downhill on it. With a proper truck/bushing/wheel setup, this is a very fun board and perfect light-weight companion for travel. And yeah, I love the aesthetics too.I'm ~5'4", ~130lbs by the way. This might be a too small to be comfortable if you're a behemoth of a rider. The only setup I've used is 76mm wheels, 4.5" Bennett-Vectors with standard/soft bushings, and 1/8" rubber risers. I never got any wheel bite, and doubt I'd be able to produce it without flying off the board on such a tight, stupid turn. I'd definitely use a smaller, tighter-turning truck setup, which this board deserves. 180mm Randals with hard bushings would be unbearable/useless I suspect. It looks like only the top/bottom veneers are bamboo (with 4 more maple-looking ones in between), but I doubt all-bamboo would make much of a difference at this deck's size anyways. The finish also seems a little thicker and unrefined compared to some other premium decks. I don't mind though, since it's nice knowing the deck has a little more protection on it.I would totally buy-again/recommend/give-as-a-gift to anyone who enjoys boarding, especially considering the price.

Awesome
I got this board and paired it with some Bullet 110 mm trucks and Cloud Ricta 52 wheels. It’s around the size of a Penny Board, might be longer. It’s super light. There’s no flex, which could be a con.The biggest con I have is the clear grip tape, after a week it’s pretty much useless.

Not big at all or long.
Horrible regard too size. Not a long board at all. More like a penny board.

Going green cruiser deck wise.
Really nice to ride. Concave is super cozy, and the spray on grip has been lasting so far. I've no complaints

The board itself is very nice, but they used a spray on grip that is crumbly and coming off in spots.
