great sfx glue
I used this to glue a 3d printed partial mask to my face and it lasted for over 12 hours with me sweating and wearing make up around the mask (following the instructions I left the skin where it attached free of any products). The solvent does sting the skin in the same way rubbing alcohol can, so take care with any sensitive skin - however I do have eczema and using this product did not cause it flare up. Just remove it appropriately and wash and moisturize after.I used it along my cheek bone and it did not hinder my ability to speak/move my face and the mask was able to move with me in a very natural manner. You will not be disappointed with this adhesive. I use cotton swaps to apply it to avoid having to wash it out of any brushes, you will likely need multiple cotton swabs as they start to lose their shape with the liquid but otherwise work perfect to apply.

Easy to use
I expected it to hold better (based on all the hype), but (with touch ups) it kept prosthetics on my face for a full day of work. It would have likely worked better on a less difficult area (I did nose and above my mouth).I don’t have much experience. Based on the fanfare, it likely works better than everything else. Lots of YouTube videos to help you use it.

not a strong hold
doesn’t hold very well, maybe it would be better for small prosthetics, but medium-large prosthetics just fall right off. waste of money imo

The glue was completely dry when I got it
I purchased this product before and it was great. The removal spray is just ok. However this time the product showed up completely dried out with no liquid glue left. This item cannot be returned so I guess I’m sol

I’m Done with Spirit Gum… Using Pros-Aide in the Future!
I’ve used Spirit Gum in the past for elf ear prosthetics, and it’s worked fine. This year, though, while directing Beauty and the Beast Jr., we really struggled to get the Beast’s facial prosthetics to stay stuck for the whole show with Spirit Gum. After prosthetics fell off multiple times during dress rehearsals, I began investigating other options. Everyone online kept pointing to Pros-Aide. I ordered this just hoping it would be our solution… and it definitely was! It worked so much better than Spirit Gum. We ran through the show five times (2 dress rehearsals and 3 shows) and only had an issue during the final show. The chin prosthetic started to come off due to the actor getting really sweaty (the house was packed that night), but we used the Pros-Aide to reapply it backstage while he wasn’t in a scene, and it held for the rest of the show. The only drawbacks are that it is significantly more pricey per ounce than Spirit Gum. It was worth it for our show, but might not be if you’re using simpler prosthetics on parts of the body that don’t move quite as much (like the ears). I do wish it had been a little more sweat-resistant as well, but it was definitely waaaay more sweat-resistant than Spirit Gum.If you purchase, do make sure to follow the application instructions precisely (apply to both the skin and the prosthetic and wait until both are clear and tacky before putting the prosthetic on the skin). Not doing so will reduce how well it adheres.
