Does what it says - scoops ice cream, as long as you remember to take ice cream out of freezer a few minutes befor ypu want it, the scoop is sturdy and easy to hold, i'm very happy with my purchase, so happy that I bought a second one for my Mother.

This ice-cream scoop is nice and sturdy, goes through even very hard ice-cream easily and the lovely comfortable handle does not hurt your hand.A must if you have mobility issues, and painful fingers!
