Works great
I didn’t use the plastic bushings it came with. I didn’t see the need for those since I was screwing into the joists in my basement. It came with heavy duty wood screws. I got a heavy bag spring that was pretty beefy and it absorbs the shock when hitting the bag.

Best solution
This joist bracket is genius for hanging a heavy bag.I’m no engineer and was very worried about hanging my 100lb bag on my own (safety reasons). I stared at my basement ceiling for about a week, taking measurements, visualizing a 360 degree workout, researching mounting and floor options etc etc.I decided on this gem correctly. I have 14” joist spacing and 8 ft from floor above to the ground. I had the bracket up within 15mins using a drill and hardware included. I did not use the plastic pieces in the drill holes. Also I chose not to have top of bracket touch ceiling and left about 1” room at top of bracket.Hung my ringside bag using their chains and hardware. I did make a small change. I replaced the bags carabiner clip with a 4” spring. All in all, sturdy affordable and easy. Thumbs up.

Works Very Well
My floor joists are 16" OC, and this was slightly larger than the opening between the joist, but flexed just enough to fit. Construction is very solid and I have no doubt it will hold out longer than my use. The eyebolt is not welded in place. I haven't decided if that's a good thing or bad. Even with a swivel on the chain, the eyebolt does come unscrewed over time. However, I like having the ability to remove it if I want. I don't have a spring on the rig yet, and that could help keep it in place. I could also put some nail polish on the threads to give it a little extra hold. I don't remember if hardware came with it, but I upgraded to 1/2" x 3" bolts. All in all, it works great.

For low ceilings in unfinished basement get this high heavy duty hanger
I like the fact that this attaches to 2 floor joists to take the stress off of one joist. This high hanger combined with a small spring and short swivel for my low ceiling basement is a plus. I do think the spring is needed to take the load and stress off the joists, otherwise the floor above will shake, vibrate with noise. The swivel takes more stress off the joists as well.I have my bag hanger, the spring, the swivel, then I wrapped by bag straps once and added a couple D clamps. Attached to the bottom is the water weight, which I will be removing the water bladder completely. Recommended by Old Slappy Mc Gee, I will rush right out and get a 50lb bag of Quickrete play sand and stick it in the gray bag and zip it up!!The hanger eye came loose a few times, I probably will use a pole through the eye to tighten a little extra. I still give it 5 starts it's heavy duty and the welds appear to be good.

Does the job well
This mount does it's job well.I had to purchase my own mounting screws, not a big deal but figure I give you a heads up. I would assume it could easily come with tho, as well.I went with 1/2 inch bolts which work perfectly. Very sturdy.Only other modification I will have to make is to apply some type of locking thread on the eye hook. Because it screws in, it can easily screw loose while hitting the bag. I have to occasionally pause and spin the bag clockwise to tighten it up again.Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and see it as a long term solution to mounting my heavy bag. I have tried other options and this is by far the best.

Works great
Mounted solid to the floor joists, helped raise the bag up a bit higher.

Works great, a little bent though
Works very nicely and is low profile to get the most height out of lower ceiling height rooms.Only reason for the 3 stars is that the hanger came somewhat bent on one side making it impossible to install it with the ring perfectly vertical. I made it work with some wood shims. Will work fine in any case, but the aesthetics are off due to the defect.

Easy to install and haven't had any issues with it
I've had this joist hanger for a few months now with a 150lbs rated spring holding up my 100lbs heavy bag. It has held up very well, granted I do not punch my bag at full force. Easy to install and haven't had any issues with it.

Not bad
Works ok. What I’m unhappy about is how the center piece in the middle (that actually holds the bag) spins. It literally spun itself loose and dropped my 130lbs bag on the floor.. I rigged several tie wraps to remedy problem but I’m sure I will be replace those every month or two.Other than that it included the fastening hardware, and it seems pretty solid mounted between the joists. I’d give it a 3.5
