I hang dry most of my clothes in my laundry room -- and this over the door clothes hanger has been a game-changer. It folds up unobtrusively when not in use and then swings down easily when it's time to hang damp clothes on it (using hangers). It is sturdy but also light weight -- and it is easy to shut the door because the metal part that hooks over the door is not too thick. I'd buy another one for my second door if they made one for thicker doors -- seriously -- this is a "keeper" for sure.

I bought this to put in my RV, but it will work just as well at home. It is very light at 220 grams but VERY strong. The 6" retractable arm flips out easily and has 6 hanger notches. There is a magnet to hold the arm in place when folded. Rubber padding all inside the U hook that goes on the door, Excellent fit & finish. I noticed that the door hanger bracket can be removed in case you decided to wall mount it. It was not "cheap" to buy but I think well worth the price considering the quality and strength. Highly recommended.

Initially bought 2 and then bought 2 more because they're so useful and slimline. They're so handy for helping to hang up clothes e.g. for drying.
