Wire Colors are not Standard
I will never understand why when there is a standard color code for trailers nobody follows its. This would be a perfect product if it did. The junction box is great quality with fasteners to secure the wires going in/out instead of the standard rubber grommets only. The molded plug fits good, and makes good contact with the truck plug. Length is about perfect if the junction box is mounted where the tongue meets the trailer frame. BUT if you don't keep the original diagram when you have wiring issues you will be playing the OHM meter tracing wire game to figure what does what. SAME COLORS AS STANDARD. NOT THE SAME FUNCTION. DUMBEST THING EVER!!!

Wire colors and pin locations incorrect.
Wire colors and pin locations incorrect. I spent long time and effort to wire the trailer and have the wires correct standard colors. Yellow to left Green to right white to ground and brown to park lights. After wiring trailer and installing wire ends. Left side wouldn’t work at all left turn signal made every light on trailer blink. After extensive troubleshooting I discovered the pin locations and wire colors were incorrect. I changed the wires to the correct lugs on the stud and everything worked correctly. The left side which should be the yellow wire was actually the red wire in the harness and the brown wire for park lights was actually the black wire.I spent a great deal of time checking the truck it was correct pin locations. Put 12 volts to trailer pins and same results. No left and green for right made whole trailer lights illuminate. So I started check continuity in the pins on the harness and discovered it was incorrectly pinned. Changed the wire to the correct pins for trailer and everything worked as it should. The whole reason for purchasing this type of connector was so I could add brakes to trailer and add backup lights and 12 volts to run a winch or battery charger in the future with minimal effort. If you purchase this harness check pin locations to wire colors if you want standard pin locations and wire colors. I have several different trailers I want everything standard to everything will work on my truck.I would have returned the item if I hadn’t mounted and clamped the harness in trailer. It was easier to just move wire ends to match trailer wires. So now the colors of the wires in the connector buss bar are not correct with the trailer.I will take pictures of the correct wires colors in the buss bar and share those so no else will go to the headache of troubleshooting the trailer and vehicle wiring.Ohm harness first before mounting if you want everything standard color and pin locations for vehicle.

Time will tell
So first thing I did was plug it into the truck and test with a 12v test light. First thing I noticed was the “standard” color codes that correspond to each circuit, wasn’t correct. Meaning, ground, left/right, stop, trailer brakes, and trailer lights were different. While I could have dealt with it, I chose not to, for ease of identification down the road. For those unfamiliar with trailer lights, yellow is driver’s side blinkers/ stop and green is passenger side, while brown is marker lights for both left and right. The new plug did not follow this pattern so a chose to cut off the factory plug and install a new plug. Like I said, my decision, not completely necessary. The quality of the wire seems good, the junction box seems sturdy and also includes a gasket for sealing out moisture. Various openings are available on the box for wire entry( 3 openings) and plugs to seal up the ones you don’t need.Keep in mind these are made in China. While it worked out for me, it’s a daily driven trailer and only some time and miles will prove it’s worth.

Couldn't have been easier
In response to the review written by RickW2007, I would like to note that the new junction box and plug were perfectly coordinated in both color and position to my existing CargoCraft trailer wiring. Perhaps neither of them use the official standard that RickW2007 was referring to, but they both apparently use some a standard of some sort. It was about as "plug and play" as these things get. The assembly was solid and everything went together smoothly and seamlessly. The plug fit snugly into my Ford F-350 and everything worked as hoped. I highly recommend this piece.
