The unit provides a decent cooling or heating airflow. Was discouraged that cool air can only be provided for 4 hours before having to turn it off. The unit then goes through a 30 minute cooldown. For heat, the manual says turn off after 2 hours. There is an automatic timer to help. Also, our old, old house has archaic wiring. We had to be cautious to not overload a circuit as the unit seems to use a significant current when running. If you have a newer house (1950 for us) you should be okay. Good product but did not work for our particular electrical system.

I've only just received this today. It appears to be quite sufficient. I'm pleased that it's not too loud. The remote does have to be pointed directly at the fan in order to work it, but that is a small issue. I haven't really tested the heat heat yet, but can always update later if needed. At this point, the only reason to give this 4 stars instead of five is the remote, but like I said, it's a small issue.

Living in Florida, I hate when it gets chilly but I also hate having to turn the heater on. We decided to go ahead and purchase this ceramic heater so we could efficiently take the chill out of the air without firing up the heater which can stink pretty bad. It is actually a heater and a fan, you can use whichever setting you need for the time, as well as a dehumidifier (which really helps during the rainy season!).The heater heats up incredibly fast (like 3 seconds...that's it!) using ceramic heating elements. It is extremely safe and all components are securely stored inside of the unit, which greatly decreases the chances of any accidental burns (always a concern with having little kids). Even moreso, it has an antitip feature which automatically shuts the unit off if it has been tipped over! The unit has an internal thermostat which will turn the unit on and off based upon your desired settings. I love this as many spaces heaters are either just on or off and you wake up in the morning to a sauna for a bedroom!This unit gets to the set temperature and maintains that, turning on and off as needed on its own. It is super energy efficient, running at a max of 35 watts. So much less usage than running the furnace! There are a multitude of personalization setting including a sleep timer that can be set for 1 to 9 hours, oscillating fan at 120 degrees and fan speeds from 1-10.

You practically have to walk up to the unit to get the remote to work. Also, some of the functions don' t have a beep to let you know it heard you. Also, I had to click several times to make it change functions. I feel it is not worth the money and returning it. Just not responsive to my commands by remote and the unit is hot when running. The manuel says if you have kids, you might consider putting the unit "up". They should say that in the description, not in the manual upon arrival... I feel this unit is NOT kid friendly. It gets hot... and does not respond by remote from a few feet away.

For the cost, I'm a little disappointed with the functionality of this fan. If you have a small bedroom, it would work fine. We have it setup on our dresser in the bedroom & can't feel the fan at all from our bed. It's about 10 feet away (from our heads to the fan) & on the highest setting. The remote only works from about 5 feet away & has to be pointed directly at it. We haven't needed to use the heat feature but when I tested it upon receipt, that appeared to work fine but at the same less than 10 feet distance. I wouldn't purchase another.

I store plants in my garage during the coldest months of the winter season, and was in search of a 'different' sort of fan that heats, swivels and could also be regular cool blowing air.Found it!Comparable to other very costly fans of the such, but LOTS less in price.Given to me as one of my Christmas gifts, which was truly what I wanted.Ended up being one of my best gifts because it WAS/IS what I wanted and needed. I love my plants so they have to get extra attention during the cold months.Spoke to John, the director of the company just for the sake of getting the specs and info ABOUT the fan. I believe it was a fairly new product.Anyway,,,What a friendly guy. Spoke to me rather like a friend. Very comfortable conversation.I was pleased that he, in his busy schedule, took time to talk to a customer(me) and not refer me to a rep or someone else. He cared enough to do so. That, as a consumer, is PRIME customer service.Thanks so much and will utilize this fan for some time to come.I'll also take the opportunity to suggest to other people I may know who needs such a fan.OH,,,,it's also very quiet. That's a good thing. :)

When I purchased this fan it was slightly over hundred dollars so I was expecting minor quality but I was surprised upon arrival. This looks like those expensive European brand and allows us to use as a fan or heater. The remote can control the oscillating function along with the speed, temp, and timer. This is lightweight but tall enough so it does not have to be placed on a table. We have used this on our patio deck and in the basement when hosting a small get together. All our children over teenagers and older so I can not attest to young child safety but our cat does not mess this fan.

The fan was missing a remote and had multiple return slips inside the packaging. It was missing the users manual and all other original packaging. The buttons are so close to the ground that it’s annoying to use without a remote and it’s hard to figure out without the directions so we will have to return it. I reached out to the seller about the missing remote last week and never heard back so the customer service isn’t great.
