The description says this is lead free, though there is a government required lead warning.

when it says the height is 12'' does that include the stopper and if not what is the height with the stopper on?

I never measured it until now. It's about 9.5" to the top with out stopper. 11" with stopper on! Hope that helps.

probably, but i have always filled from a larger 1.75 bottle, so i am not certain....
