This review comes a month after use.I've seen some complain about dents but I guess that's down to delivery.Mine arrived no dents.The build is sturdy and the rubber cylinder feels very sturdy. It can tack a good whack from my portafilter and No damage to either. Can contain a lot of grounds. I single shot and it has held up to 6 comfortably.The non slip base works well.The design looks made around the Sage version. So it's basically an Aldi equivalent of a brand.But a great all rounder. I'd recommend. It's hard to find a good build quality on Amazon these days!I hope this helps someone.

I have been using this item daily for a couple of months. It looks smart, works well and is very easy to keep clean, both inside and outside. To clean, tip the used pucks onto your garden soil or into a food recycling bin, rinse the box under the tap for a few seconds and wipe dry the outer surface and it is as good as new. It looks very smart by the side of your coffee machine. Upon first use I was surprised to see that the tapping bar is made of a soft rubbery plastic material rather than a hard material but I have found it works very well and the rubbery surface means it is relatively quiet when tapping the puck out of the portafilter. Good value for money.

Bought for my daughter who has limited worktop space. She seems pleased enough with it.

Love this, looks so smart on the worktop. Nicely made and robust. On first unboxing I thought it looked too small for our basket (not sure if that’s the correct name, the thing you fill with coffee and it’s got a handle) but it’s perfect. Holds a surprising amount too. Very pleased with it.

This knock box is great looking and reasonably priced. Works perfectly and easy to clean. Recommend.

It's perfect. It's not too big but it holds a few days worth of coffee and I'm ashamed to say I drink a LOT of coffee. So glad I went for this rather than a bigger, more expensive type. Very clean, hardly any stray coffee grinds. Recommended

My Sage Oracle has been returned and I have bought a new E61 Lelit machine. Now the Sage included a very nice knock box but the new one does not.So I bought this one - it is basically a Chinese copy of the Sage one and I like the brushed stainless steel finish. The solid bar only pushes into holes in the silicon inner case but it seems to stay put so no problem - the Sage one had a locking bayonet style fitting without the protruding side bits.Anyway, it does the job, seems to wash out easily and looks quite smart BUT appears to be very cheaply engineered from low cost materials - basically I would say it is 40% of the quality whilst being 80% of the cost of the Sage one!Bottom line - does the job but over priced.

This is the third knock box I've had and I love it. My first one was beautiful bamboo and stainless and it worked fine, but just took up too much of my limited counter space. My second one was a smaller round one, and I didn't like that one at all. It was awkward to use, coffee splattered out of it, etc. This one is PERFECT- the Goldilocks of Knock Boxes. It looks great- streamlined, great design. It's big enough to contain the coffee splatters but still comfortable to use. Very simple to dump out and clean. If you have a small kitchen and only make one or two espressos a day this knock box is perfect.
