David Fincher: Films That Scar

How can you have a book about movies and have no pictures? It is like a textbook with print that is hard to read.

The author misquotes multiple lines of dialogue to the point that the meaning or significance of said lines is grossly skewed or exaggerated. "Is the Zodiac a satanist?" becomes "Is the Zodiac a sickness?" "We should all stick to our set routines," becomes "We should all stick to our sexual teams (!)" and so on. Scenes described as being left out of the theatrical release of a particular film are actually contained within the theatrical release. Dialogue is attributed to the wrong characters, and so on.If your goal is subtextual analysis, this does not bode well.
