I bought this mat when it became apparently we needed floor mats in front of the doors that lead to our porch, as my husband was leaving dirt all over my clean floors! This is polypropylene fiber, which is soft enough to walk on with bare feet (and not get scratched) but also enough pile to trap dirt, dust, and cat litter. To clean, simply shake it off outside; or if soiled with mud, throw it in the washer on a Cold/Delicate cycle. It's also Van Gogh, whose later artworks I love....

I did not rate absorbency because this rug is not designed to be absorbent. I needed a rug to place outside our RV to prevent us from dragging in dirt. It is rough enough to clean shoes and open enough for the dirt to fall through. I also like the design. Who could turn down Van Gogh

Hadn't seen this material in years & with the stylish print even better. It's a soft textured rubber like material (no odor) super thin & flat with a slightly spongy feel that doesn't budge an inch. Great for inside the front door. Used to be a must have mat around home pools & reminds me of happy days under bare feet. It will last a good while. Just hose it off & air dry to clean.

I love this rug! First off, it shipped super fast. The colors are very bright. It is sturdy and well made. The backing is pretty amazing; it hasn't slipped an inch, even with it being in a high traffic area. It has helped so much with cat litter being tracked around. You can easily shake out the rug to clean it. I will be buying more from this company. 5 stars!

It's cute. Picture looks exactly like the real thing. If you just got this mat for looks that's great. The issue I have with it is that it's very thin, and it does not absorb moisture from wet shoes. Also one side of it will blow up and fold over if the wind gets going.

I like the mat very much. It's a nice size. I've bought several and they stay in place pretty well and should be easy to clean. I don't know how absorbent it is because it's rubber.

They have a little stickiness them, and I noticed that the packaging said it was to keep cats from tracking in litter. That being said, I thought that was actually a good thing for a doormat!
