BANDAIHobby HG Gundam Kimaris Trooper Gundam IBO Building Kit (1/144 Scale)

As a casual model builder, I love this kit. I love kits that give you your money's worth. This is one of those rare kits that is beginner friendly and is generous enough to give you an action base to show off the mobile suit in anyway you wish.Now the ups for this kit was the lance. I was thinking that it was gonna be a very heavy weapon for the kit to hold properly, but it comes with an unarticulated hand to hold it properly with and the side skirts act as holders for the end of the handle. THAT IS GENIUS. That way you can have the Kimaris hold the lance in many ways. This kit also has a shield that also acts as a sheath for the sword. What I like about these weapons is that you can have everything on the gundam without putting other accessories away for your own convenience.As for the transformation, it's very simple. All you have to do it open the shins to reveal the Kimaris's secret form that allows it to become a centaur like state. Added with an action base, this model kit really settles to make it look like a jousting centaur. A very chivalric and gallant Gundam indeed for a pilot such as Gaelio.It only took me about 4 hours to put this kit together. It's a fast build and it gives you a lot to work with for something worth 20 bucks. I hope a master grade of this kit comes out to get the full experience of what this kit is capable of. You will be satisfied for it's aspects and you will enjoy posing it in what ever fashion you desire! Happy model building!

This guy appeared towards near the end of the first season of IBO and its fairly good.The lance is a bit heavy and you get a display stand to have him in his centaur form (for the lower half).Decent kit.

This is one of my favorite kits out of the entire IBO line and Gundam in general. the gimmicks are great the kit is very well built and i love that all the accessories can be stored on the kit all at the same time.

It's an IBO hg so you pretty much know what you're getting, not too much different than other ones. The stickers are pretty easy for this one too! The transforming legs are neat and it comes with a stand so really nothing worth complaining about!

Gundam kits are amazing. If you have put together other kinds of model kits you will have some appreciation of how well thought out these are. Really fun. Very modular and flexible.

A very awesome HG GunPla, very good for both experienced builders and beginners. The articulation is outstanding and everything just works. Only complaint is the right arm is a bit loose but that’s an easy fix. Overall it isn’t perfect but it’s a very good kit and is some of the best the HG IBO line has to offer 9.5/10

By far a extremely fun build , I love the character and the suit . Swords and melee weapons are like my favorite so thus kit is the best .

A little bothersome posing the lance, but not a major issue. Kit is great, and what's more, a stand is included! Wish all HG came with one.

this model kit has a extremely fun build that never gets boring and has tons detail and pannel lining, the articulation is also amazing, all of the joints out of the box are tight and can hold a pose. the alternate mode is also fun and creative and one of the best aspects of the figure. the figure comes with a total of 4 accessories, a shield, a sword, one alternate hand, and a absolutely massive lance that is bigger than the lupus rexs mace. this figure is almost perfect in my opinion and a must have for any Iron-Blooded Orphans fan!
