Servo motor of excellent quality and reliability
I purchased this replacement servo motor for our school's Juki DNU 1541S industrial machine when its cheap installed servo motor failed. I had installed an earlier version, the SewQuiet 5000SM motor on my own machine to replace a clutch-type motor and know its excellent quality and reliability. It was easy to mount in the table's existing holes though I did have to get a different belt. Push buttons on the motor allow you to set the speed range for slower or faster depending on the intricacy of the work and experience of the operator. We set it slow for our students and the motor has robust power to sew through multiple layers of leather and canvas.

It runs so well you forget it's there
I have this on my 212w double needle machine. This is a little more than the $100 servo motors and well worth it. No speed reduction or smaller pulley needed and it is very quiet. If this lasts as long as the old SewQuiet 5000 I'll be very happy. While I did not by the sensor, I will machining an adapter and adding it soon. Very happy with this purchase.

Works great, but the synchronizer socket is weak and poor design
First of all, the little motor works great on an industrial sewing machine. By default it's set up to do single-step, then slow, then fast, stitching dependent on the pedal position. It IS much quieter than some motors (scads quieter than a clutch-type motor). However, I also got the needle-position synchronizer that goes with it (from another source), and here's where I had some trouble. When I went to plug it in, the receptacle fell into the motor. I had to remove four screws to take the cover off and put the receptacle back into position. I then plugged the synchronizer in by pushing on both sides (inside and outside) before putting the screws back in. Note that this probably violated the warranty and ran the risk of breaking something even worse, but that's a pretty crummy design item for an industrial type motor.

One huge nightmare
Reliable SewQuiet 6000SM. First the good- This motor has power, more than enough to do what needs to be done. That's it.Now for the rest- this motor would be great for the hearing impaired. If it is run with no load, it's not too bad, but with the slightest amount of resistance, like powering a sewing machine, its loud. Annoying loud, louder than my sewing machine. Also, there are 2 buttons on this motor that control the shaft direction and shaft speeds. These buttons did absolutely nothing. This rendered the motor useless.I tried to deal with Reliable Customer Service, and they were absolutely impossible. I ended up asking for a refund on my purchase. They would not send me a return shipping label (as Amazon said they should) until I called them up and asked why I hadn't received it. Only then did the email me the label. Amazon says that the refund should be posted within 5 days after the seller receives the return. It was 15 days and I still had not heard anything from them. Again, I called. The CS rep told me that they didn't know how returns worked with Amazon, and she would have to check on this, and would get back with me. Obviously that never happened. I then filed a complaint against Reliable with Amazon. Within less than an hour, my refund was approved and within a day or two my money was posted to my credit card account.Just my opinion, I will NEVER deal with this company again. If you do, best of luck.

Good, smooth, strong and reliable
This is the 4th SewQuiet 6000 motor I have purchased. Every one of them was strong, quiet, reliable. Everything was right about them. One of the motors was 220V. The rest were 110. All of them were excellent.

Performed as advertised.
Order received on time and motor was installed the same day received. It replaced a clutch motor on a Mitsubishi 105 Walking Foot. Old motor and on/ off switch removed and new unit installed and able to use existing belt and mounting belts. The only adjust was the bobbin winding plate. On power up the max speed was set and practiced on various fabrics and thicknesses. Experienced no problem with slow stitching and multiple thicknesses of marine canvas. One stitch at a time as well as fast runs were no problem for this motor. The replaced clutch unit did not have the torque at slow speed to go thru multiple layers without assistance from hand wheel. Also, slow stitching with old unit was impossible and machine had a run away tendency. Wished I knew of this servo unit long ago. Sewing should be a pleasure going forward.

I highly recommend
I put this on my Adler 267 industrial sewing machine. I was very impressed both with how smooth and easy it was to put on. It bolted right up and everything you needed was included. The performance and power was great. I should have done this years ago. I have already bought another one for my other machine.

It's pretty easy to install, does what it is supposed to do
So I added this to a Bonis "Neverstop" sewing machine, as a replacement for the original clutch motor on the sewing machine. The original clutch worked OK, but was a little hard to control. So the Reliable SewQuiet 6000SM was an improvement in controllability in almost every way except one, slow speed, the low speed of 200RPM just isn't low enough, I wish they would allow for a lower starting RPM. This prompted me to add the associated Reliable Sew needle synchronizer which did make the machine work 1 stitch at a time, so now it's possible to quickly press the pedal and get a single stitch, so I can have a single stitch at a time or a not slow enough slow stitch speed.

Very easy to install.
Extreme improvement over my old clutch motor. Very quiet and slow. Works great. Took me about an hour to remove old motor and install the Consew.

Slow and powerful, exactly what I needed
Very good replacement motor for your industrial sewing machine. I have an old Singer 111w152 walking foot industrial machine. Great machine that will last forever, but my sewing skills are not very good and with the current motor that came with the machine, it runs much too fast for my meager skills, it scares me. the current motor is enormous. To give you an idea, it is about the size of your average summer sleeping bag.The old motor weight a ton, I estimate it to easily weight around 80 pounds, so make sure you put a lot of cushions and thick blankets under it to catch the motor when you remove it.The new motor is very easy to install. In my case it was an exact fit from my old set up. Even the belt tension did not have to be adjust. The control on the speed of your sewing machine is amazing, you can sew one stitch at the time if you wish. The motor come with a 60 mm pulley. A smaller pulley will give you even more control. It is very powerful. Make sure you get a brushless motor, they are much stronger than regular brush servo motor. this way you have much more control on the speed of your machine, especially if you want slower speed. If you get a regular servo motor with brushes and you are sewing thick material, the regular brush motor will bog down and you have to give it more power. By the time it overcome the thick material, it will revolution at a very fast speed.Hope this help you. Click thumbs up if you like this review.

So quiet
Great help when sewing. I prefer the controlled slow speed than the clutch motor speed. My only problem is those buttons, they dont work properly the one I ordered from Amazon. The P and S buttons the design is not that good. How I wish they are not that kind of covered buttons. I need to try pressing it hard many times when I need to set or change the speed. At first, i thought it was broken because I couldn’t change the speed. I feel like it was a fake buttons before coz I tried lightly pressing then and hard, but did not work.Is there a way to make those buttons work properly?

SewQuiet is actually very noisy...
I bought this because I saw videos that showed, and stated that it was dead silent during operation. This is NOT true. I bought this as I have ASD and my clutch motor was too loud for me. This is actually worse. And there buttons are totally out of reach, totally not user friendly for being out of reach either. This company states that it is a silent operation motor, it is not. Not even close. This is a very disappointing product.I am using a 44' Singer 400w103, the weight of the cast singer pedal pulls on the arm and starts the motor, so there are very limited pedal positions that you can choose. My machine needs to go through 12 layers of denim, and with the clutch it will do 20+. This servo seems to be struggling with 8 layers of 12 oz. Should have known when the box was under 5 pounds. This will be a return, I can already tell....If you have an Industrial machine, this is not the toy.

Great motor !
I got the motor and my husband and I installed it. Neither of us really knew what we were doing however we figured it out without any problems. I was worried about the belt not fitting, with a little adjustment it did. I plugged it in and away it went. Super quiet and nice and slow just what I wanted. Great motor ! I definitely recommend this motor.
