When reading his novels, there is often a surge of enthusiasm that does not begin halfway through or near the end, but rather starts right from the first page, with the very first sentence.What a man, Jeffery Archer! I mean it when I say, Sir Jeffery Archer is like a great sumptuous wine, who just gets better and better with age. And what a brilliant piece of work this is! He’s set the bar again!The narrative is captivating, vibrant, and incredibly entertaining. With enthralling courtroom scenes, Jeffrey Archer's brilliant narrative style will totally blow your mind. The characters' depth has been well-written, and they are very intriguing. Besides that, the Warwick family's light-hearted banter serves as the icing on the cake.As I finished reading the last line of the book, the first words that popped out of my mouth were 'Whoa', ‘What!’ and when I set the book down, I took a deep breath, only to find that I had been holding it for quite some time. The ending leaves you with a gasp, a frisson, and a rush of adrenaline. And you know that's going to be around for a while. This one is going on my mantelpiece of total favourites, right next to one of his other greatest books, Clifton Chronicles, which was my one and only favourite, until now!I cannot begin to describe the depth of my excitement, the sparkle in my eyes, an explosion of sheer joy and a massive smile on my face as I write this. Reading his works always places me in a state of bliss, serenity and ataraxy; and I mentally kick myself, for not reading this book sooner. I can hear myself doing cartwheels and jumping up and down like a child with excitement; and the adrenaline rush and thrill you get from reading the book makes me weak at the knees, and I say this with complete respect and appreciation for him. I had a great time reading this one and really enjoyed the novel. I can't wait to get started on the series' second instalment. And I can't wait for the third one to come out. I can hardly wait to get my hands on it! He is, without a doubt, the best of the best. I adore and admire his work from the bottom of my heart.What more can I say? Sir Jeffery Archer, Take a bow! What a brilliant piece of work that is!So, what are you all waiting for? Don't you want to read some good writing? Go get the novel! I can assure you that, you are in for a hell of a ride!

You won’t be able to put down the book once you start

2020年の４月に80歳になる方が、新しいシリーズを始めるなんて！前書きでご本人が冗談交じりで言う通り、時間との戦いです。今作は絵画の贋作をめぐる知恵比べ。アーチャー節全開で楽しめます。ウィリアム・ウォーウィックが探偵になる経緯は、自作に持ち越されています。次作が楽しみです。私は英検二級。分からないところは聞き飛ばし、日本語訳が出てから細かいところは確認します。粗筋しか分かってませんが、英国でもハードカバーしか出ていない作品をペーパーバックが出る前にCDブックで楽しめるのは、ありがたい。通勤電車で、あっという間に２回聞きました。

Archer is a master at getting you hooked. This is my first Warwick, and I will definitely buy the next few.
