MorettiTaragna Polenta with Buckwheat - 1.1 Pound

This is a delicious polenta, bringing a bit of an Eastern European flair to the polenta we all love. It cooks up just like a regular polenta, and the buckwheat gives it a slightly nutty flavor. I first had this in Trieste, but could never find it here in the US. I’m so happy to have found it here!

After seeing this on the Rachael Ray show, I decided to buy this to give it a try. Worth every penny. I made this for my mother who is Italian and she loved it. The flavor is kind of nutty due to the buckwheat. I will be buying this again.

Not useable. It’s all clumped in a solid block. And even though the listing says it’s returnable or replaceable, when I clicked on the button to do that, it says nope. Pretty mad.

My family is from the province of Valtellina, Italy, where Polenta Taragna is a staple. I've been making it the US for the last 20 years after by grandmother passed away. This is by far the best corn and buckwheat meal mix I have used. The polenta comes out just like my grandmother would make, semi-sweet with a little of the nuttiness of the buckwheat. Add some muenster cheese at the end and you'll love it. Don't forget to brown some butter to ladle generously on each person's slice of polenta. Yum!

If you like polenta, this one is top quality. Very tasty with cheese. Pricey for polenta, but high quality and highly recommended. When I get my next shipment I will take photos and upload to show the ingredients you can see from the picture it is more than corn, above review mentions buckwheat but I recall there is more. Thank you.

I don’t know if I should use this product because I purchased 2 other of the exact same item and they were different. The 2 I purchased prior to this one were loose packed. This order came in as a solid mass. The expiration date is good but I am not sure if the product is ok.
