ApogeeGroove USB DAC and Headphone Amplifier

How can I be sure the Groove is outputting 24-bit/192kHz when I'm playing a hi-res file? I'm on Win 10. Are there settings I need to change in the OS?

I have problems installing the apogee groove driver (v. 3.23) on my windows 10, insider preview 11099 machine.

Which ess dac does this use (which model number)?
