I really like this bottle for those long walks on hot days. The unusual threaded cap is a great idea as it becomes a sort of tray open on one side for the dog to drink from. There are a few improvements that I think would be nice though. If it was somehow possible to have a separate threaded stopper to seal the bottle and then have the outer cup thread onto the stopper it would make it usable for humans and dogs at the same time. As it is when you allow the dog to drink from the cup the inner part of the stopper is exposed to the water that the dog is drinking from. I understand that some people wouldn't have a problem with sharing it, but as much as I love my dog there is much evidence that a dog's mouth is not as clean as we might want to believe. A few other small things are the provided clip on the cap is quite small and I think it would be better if they supplied a carabiner type instead. The paint and color over metal are very nice but prone to getting chipped if you aren't careful. If you prefer to fill it with ice water it won't stay cold very long on a hot day as it's uninsulated so you may want to purchase an optional holder..

This is terrific for those warm days in the park.
