Q: My pond is only 110 gal. How much would I use to treat in the Fall?

There is a dosage chart on the box. The first dose is the largest then you decrease the dosage after that. You would probably use 1 to 1 1/2 ounces for the initial dose. It's hard to overdose but it's best to stay with the chart. This product has a two year shelf life, so assuming it hasn't been sitting in the warehouse for a long time this should last you a long time. I have over 1000 gallons in my pond so this lasts only one season, I just use the leftover liquid with my Spring/Summer start up. I've had a pond and Koi for around 15 years and Microbelift is my go-to product. Good luck.

Q: Starting a stock tank pond, can I use this as as a pond starter/beneficial bacteria (not much leaves/debris to clear where I live)?

Although this will help breakdown debris it’s primary use is to aid your filter in filtering out pollutants. Eventually gunk will build up on the bottom and sides of the stock tank and regular use of Microbelift will help. The autumn/winter has cold resistant bacteria that survive through cold winters. If you are just starting up the pond and are in a colder climate this should work just fine. If you are in a warm zone I would just use Microbelift PL.
