New Native American Drama

Native American author Hanay Gieogomah's 3 plays in "New Native American Drama," is interesting and diverse. These plays are from the 1970's, and so they belie the title a bit, but I enjoyed them. They are all very different from each other. "Body Indian" was sad and somber, "Foghorn" a pure fun satirical romp, but the compelling one for me was the last, "49" - the most profoundly descriptive of Native American hope. Gieogomah is a Kiowa, and a drama prof. at UCLA.

So glad to find this.

The copy I received (besides coming too late) was technically fine, but the front cover was covered in something. Not damaged or anything, just dirty, and it makes me wonder why no one just took some safe cleaning solution and a paper towel to it before sending it out. It just seems sloppy.
