It works as it claims to.I have been logging in my colaries consumed on my fitness Pal and cross checking it with my Gobe number.The numbers are similar with the Gobe claiming I ate 300 calories more than fitness Pal. I bought a treadmill.I found that I didn't get the proper time walked registered on Gobe while wearing the band on my wrist so I started wearing it on my ankle during treadmill time and got proper registration like that. The calories consumed is delayed information of the calories consumed after digestion but after wearing this for a week I am getting a good idea of how this works. I always wanted a device that counts calories consumed and now I have found it so I am happy.It needs to be charged every morning for half an hr.Update 28/03/19: Still wearing my Gobe, mostly on my ankle with an elastic band to extend the band as otherwise it can get too tight during the day. I am not allowed to wear any wristband at work, so this is what I do.It still counts calories eaten well.

I so wanted this to work. I tried it again last week, a year after giving up on it and it the calories are just completely wrong. Plus it is so uncomfortable to wear so it is a real effort to wear something that gives you wrong calories numbers. Not even close to me. Very disappointed. I read the bad reviews, I wanted to buy it anyway as I was dreaming of something like this, but that was a mistake. There is a reason why apple or Fitbit are not doing that yet , the technology does not work.
