Ever After High Dragon Games Raven Queen Doll

My grand daughter collected most of the Monster High dolls. She's now likes the High Dragon ones but not as much....

I decided I wanted to collect all the dragon games dolls, but I want to leave them in the package so I can display them on my shelf. I ordered Raven, Holly, and Darling all at once and was disappointed when they arrived today in the mail. I found the bottom of Raven's box partially crushed with the Ever After High Logo partially torn, Darling's left eye is a little bit too high (just slightly so, hardly noticeable with her tilted head in the package) and her hair was somewhat frizzy, and Holly had a single hair swept right across her face (now I'm just being picky, really Holly didn't bother me, but Raven's box and Darling's eye did). So, just a slight disappointment, but nothing that could take away the love I have for these Dragon Games Warrior Princesses. I love that all these dolls look like warriors for the dragon games. These dolls are my favorite design thus far with their leggings, boots, and armor. I feel like as much as these characters go through in their stories, these outfits would be more appropriate for their everyday wear.I've held off buying a Raven Queen doll for quite a long while, Cerise is the only doll I want to buy all the different versions of (and maybe Darling depending on what comes out next. But as for the other characters I've been holding off on finding one version of their doll that I like the most. Basic Raven was missing something in my opinion; Legacy Day was a little much; I didn't care for the Thronecoming look (I didn't like that her mask wasn't all the recognizable as a dragon); Way to Wonderland was a bit out of place for a Raven doll wanted something that looked more like her; Getting Fairest, Enchanted Picnic, and Date Night were just too simple; and finally SDCC's dress was a mermaid dress (I personally don't like the mermaid dress shape and I just think it makes everyone look a little funny, nothing personally against the SDCC doll).Then I heard about the dragon games dolls and I fell in love with Raven's look. I can see an Raven wearing this look easy. The leggings to make it easy to move in with all the crazy things that happen in her life, the high low top with the shimmery foil design that looks like feathers I believe, and the shoulder pieces just look amazing. I love her side pony and streak of teal-blue, it just works for her purple and black hair. Her gauntlet and chain breast plate/belt thing just look awesome for her design. The boots are wonderful, while a bit impractical flying around on a dragon with boots somewhat open on the side, but the buckles and dragon heels detail just look like Raven especially with her pet being a dragon named Nevermore.I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't include Raven with Nevermore, I would have preferred to see Raven on her dragon (I'm not the biggest fan of Apple, but I will be getting her Dragon Games doll). That is my only problem with Raven. I'm so glad to finally own a Raven Doll and I'm happy that I held out to find just the perfect Raven for my collection.
