I was a bit hesitant to get this set after reading some of the reviews, but wanted it to go with my round watercolour paper pad. Well, I'm very pleased with it. It's clear they have re-designed it from its original format, & for the better it seems. Ok so the plastic insert is a bit cheap but I thought the colours were great. And I have loads of sets to compare it to! I created a colour wheel to swatch the colours. I peeled the plastic colour names cover off the bottom of the tin, as it goes inside on top of the pans (you'll see it has tabs to bend round to hold it in place at both ends of the waterbrush slot). Yes the lid is very hard to open, so I taped a bit of ribbon under the tin, ran it over the top of plastic cover that I put over the pans & leave it hanging out the other side, then put the lid on. So when I open it again, I pull at the ribbon & it lifts the lid off with a lot more ease. All in all, I'm very happy I got this set.

Ces aquarelles sont juste parfaites.Bonne mixité entre les couleurs, étalement de l'aquarelle sur le papier très fluide.Pigments des couleurs de très bonne qualité. Le pinceau est peut être un peu gros suivant les travaux que l'on veut faire, mais reste de bonne qualité.Le seul bémol, la palette de mélange centrale qui a tendance à garder la/les couleur(s) une fois nettoyée.

Ich bin echt mehr als zufrieden mit der box, habe die farben richtig gerne und benutze auch den pinsel dazu, obwohl der ja sichtlich ungeeignet für aquarell ist. zum mischen jedoch gibt es keinen besseren pinsel als den :Dunglaublich schöne auswahl an farben und die pigmentierung mag ich auch richtig. vielleicht nicht so hoch wie bei schminke aber das muss es ja auch gar nicht ;) kann diesen Kasten nur weiterempfehlen :)einziger makel ist ... die box ist ja extra dafür gemacht, dass man sie mal mitnehmen kann. hatte sie jetzt auf einer reise mitgenommen und alle farben lagen draußen. lässt sich ja wieder einsortieren aber schön war es trotzdem nicht :/ vielleicht lässt sich da ja noch etwas machen :)
