I wanted a low cost, fast reading pool thermometer, and this one works perfectly. It floats vertically after a few seconds of filling up with water. If you want the temperature below the surface, you simply hold it below water with your hand. No problemo! It settles at the correct temperature within about 20 seconds or so. I've checked its accuracy against my neighbors' more expensive thermometers, and it reads exactly the same. This pool thermometer is easy to use, simple, accurate, fast, low cost, and great value for the money.

This water thermometer is exactly what I was looking for - something simple, easy to use and inexpensive. It shows the temperature very accurate, just the right size and is easy to read.

The thermometer's temperature was not accurate at all. Well over 10 degrees off every time we tested it. I would not recommend. You could tell it was cheap as soon as we opened the package.

Works great and accurate. I wish they made a smaller one for my aquariums. Many other thermometer brands are not accurate and you don't realize it unless you have a very good, USA made thermometer in the same tank. This is the only one I could find that doesn't have the colored background from 70 to 80 degrees. The color makes it hard for me to read the temperature. I want WHITE background and LARGER numbers!

This is my third time buying a pool thermometer. The first two were nearly impossible to read and would not float upright. However, this thermometer has large easy to read numbers and floats upright. And is accurate.

We had this thermometer for about a year and it quit working. The interior part disconnected and started to clang around inside the holder. It no longer keeps accurate temperatures.
