Case LogicRbp-117 17.3-Inch Macbook Pro/Laptop Backpack With Ipad/Tablet Pocket (Black)

Finally found backpack that fits 17.3" Dell Precision 7710. Excellent build quality.my laptop has size- 16.42"x11.08"1.36" and it just fits in the laptop compartment. No much free room left though on the edges.Suggestion to Case Logic: add little more buffer space at the top edges. Zipper is very close to the laptop edges.

2nd time buyer. The first one was bought from Souq.com at lesser price in 2011 & rough used it for a good 6 years. This backpack is versatile.

I have been using it everyday for about 2 years now and it doesnt even have minor wear and tear. Price wise it is expensive but it's worth every single penny spent. Tons of space, comfortable, good looking, durable, quality construction, still looks like new after 2 years, what else do you need? Five stars to the manufacturer and Five stars to Amazon for making it available.

I love this backpack.It is very big. Shame logic case doesn't produce these big backpacks. Amazing sponge for the back. Many pockets, Good organisation.

If you sport a 17 inch laptop, this is your backpack! Look no further.When I purchased this item from Amazon, I made sure to consider ALL of my options and alternatives beforehand. In the end I narrowed it down to this Case Logic backpack vs. the Swissgear Pegasus 17' bag. I was drawn to the Swissgear backpack because of it's sleek and sexy design; however, I felt it wouldn't fully serve the purpose I expected from a backpack. In the end, I chose Case Logic and am extremely satisfied with the product.This Case Logic backpack is ideal for me because of the following reasons:- I needed a backpack that would offer enough space to fit my gigantic 17' HP Envy laptop. This does the trick.- The backpack needed to offer padding support for my (expensive) laptop, which is a concern with most people, and this definitely offers excellent padding support.- I travel VERY often and needed something that would be easy to lug around while also offering extra room for additional clothing, toiletry items, snacks, documents, AND my camera equipment. I've traveled with this thing all over Europe, Mexico and USA and all the while I fit my Canon t2i with two lenses, a GoPro with a small tripod, and a battery charger for both cameras ALONG WITH the laptop and everything else mentioned above.- The "secret pouch" on the back is so convenient...I mostly kept my passport and wallet there while travelling.- The backpack is comfortable to wear as a result of the custom straps and padding on the back.- I LOVE the two Compression Straps on the front sides of the backpack!! It's a convenient way to quickly and easily put away a bulky jacket or towel which you might be travelling with.- The backpack is made from a sturdy and thick enough material where I don't need to worry about a hole developing on the bottom if it is placed on the ground or dragged anywhere.- Initially I worried that the backpack might look too large or be ugly compared to the other options I looked at. Boy was I wrong, the size of this product is just perfect and it looks extremely sexy with the black finish and shiny highlight on the front.- The backpack stands up, super convenient!!!- It has a handle at the bottom, makes it super easy to stow the backpack under a seat in an airplane or move it around in such confined areas.Now the cons of the backpack:- My only concern with the backpack is the stitching of the shoulder straps...I've owned the backpack for about 6 months now and have noticed that the stitches have start to come undone. I'd hear them snap after I'd put on the backpack. Luckily, Case Logic has stitched the shoulder straps all the way across the top of the backpack which gives them more strength and allows for more durability. I assume this problem exists because I fit so many things in the backpack...but it hasn't come undone and if it ever does, I wouldn't mind stitching them back up!I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for such features, whether you are a frequent traveler, a weekend traveler or a college student with one too many books or electronic gadgets in your hand. I also use it as my every day coffee house bag when I have emptied the backpack and have down time.

This bag is very useful and it can fit so much more than you'd think. I can easily fit in my large 15.6" y580 laptop and charger, a pair of converses, some clothes, a big pile of books(7-8 cm high) and a load of stationary without using the back pad compartment and with plenty of room to spare. The rolling up of the shoulder strap extra bits is genius and makes it look much nicer. My only gripe like some other reviews have said is the padding on the bottom of the laptop compartment, I sometimes forget about it and put my bag down to hear that heartbreaking thump as the laptop hits the table/floor.Case logic has some videos up on its website which gives you a pretty good idea of the look of the bag and some of its features. I've had this case for around 6 moths now and it looks as new with pretty much daily use. The stitching seems very good so I expect this bag to last me for a good few years. Overall a great product and I don't for a moment regret paying this much for a bag.
