Fantastic close to a great series
If nothing else, the Xenosaga series has been defined by how tumultuous its design decisions have been. The original introduced a likable cast into a futuristic, psychological romp that was marred by its mediocre combat. Its sequel lavished in changes, some necessary (combat) and some strange (a decidedly apathetic voice cast). The final entry truly rounds the experience, bringing a beautiful close to a contemplative, adult trilogy (which is more than I can say for upwards to 80% of JRPGs out there). If you have a passing interest in this series, start with the first one.

MERCI stefminard !!!

Nostalgic, captivating, and full of everything that makes up the perfect RPG.
Found this game when I was a little girl. Never played the first two or beat this game back when I was younger, so I had to get it again.Cons: Lots of cut scenes as usual (the last games, especially Xenosaga 2, had lots of cut scenes.) This game is NOT AT ALL for you if you get impatient from cut scenes. If you skip a cut scene, you will have no idea what-so-ever about the plot anymore at all. The cut scenes are important, so if you do get the game or all three games, I recommend not skipping any cut scenes, and I recommend always having lots of snacks while you play this game.Pros: EVERYTHING. The gameplay and graphics are fantastic for a PS2 classic like this. Voice acting is wonderful AND THEY BROUGHT BACK KOS-MOS' VOICE ACTRESS THANK THE GODS. Beautiful story, emotional, and quite sad as well. Very nostalgic. I feel as though any new players to this game would really enjoy it. As said, this game was the first game I played of all the other games. I recommend it highly, and you'll see me cosplaying as KOS-MOS in Tokyo, Japan, 2016!!! <3

The exiting conclusion and return to form of Xenosaga
This is the best game in the series. The combat, while reverting to a traditional menu based interface, is streamedline. The combat animations are brief yet impactful. The character model take a more pleasant fusion of Episode 1 and Episode 2, with the retuning voice actresses of Shion Uzuki and the android KOS-MOS. The game story revisits key moments in the lore of Xenosaga, fleshing out the characters and giving their respective arcs a satisfying conclusion.I consider this game one of my favorite and my favorite in the franchise. For those whom have not experienced the saga from the beginning can find a Dtabase that provides summaries of the first two titles as well as definitions and explanations of the elements that compose the Xenosaga universe.
