Pro Marine has amazing products! Their epoxy works great and works well clear or with pigment. In the picture I’ve attached, it has a clear top coat (which is so beautifully clear that you can hardly see it) and it also has pigment mixed epoxy (green and yellow bottom layer).It’s really awesome to work with. When you mix it as described by the company, you have plenty of time to pour. Definitely have a torch (micro torch is best) to utilize and get any bubbles out from mixing.I also have to comment on their customer service. I wrote DOZENS of emails to Pro Marine and they get back SAME DAY. They are so helpful. I actually messed something up on my end with the epoxy and they walked me through how to fix it step by step. Now you can’t even tell that I made a mistake!You can even sand this product and pour another coat. It gets hot enough that it melds the layers together and you literally can’t see any imperfections (if you made a mistake, they disappear!).I will definitely utilize this product again for other projects.I would 1,000,000% recommend this to others as well because their product is amazing, it’s very affordable compared to any other epoxy, it’s amazingly easy to work with, and most important to me is their incredible customer service.I would give it more than 5 stars if possible.Thank you so much to the Pro Marine team!

The long cure time for this product made it much easier for me, a first timer, to get bubbles out and allow the product to settle.It also forced me to slow down and think about the next step.I had some "fish eyes" but this was because I didn't prep the wood as well as I should have.Once I allowed the first coat to dry I used steel wool and methyl hydrate to rough and wash the fish eye area.The second coat filled everything in perfectly.I only used the two seal coats and one flood coat.The piece (an antique sewing machine/vanity) looks stunning.I am having trouble believing that - I did it.

This stuff is great, i did a lot of research to see what was the best resin to use for resin key-chains and crafts. Pro Marine resin was the most recommended for numerous reasons.It doesn't have a smell! Other resin I have worked with had a very chemically smell.The bubbles rise to the surface and pop, I let my mixture sit for a few minutes before I pour into my molds and most of the bubbles are gone by then. Any remaining ones I just use a heat gun to pop.It cures beautifully. It's crystal clear and so shiny!The only thing I'd love is if there were pumps I could use for this as pouring can be difficult into my small cups. I wish they sold pumps like they do for the other resin in the store.The price is also great for how much you're getting. I feel like I get the most bang for my buck using Pro Marine!

Je recommande! J’aurais du mettre une couche plus grande, mais en le laissant sécher, sabler, nettoyer et remettre une autre couche, le résultat est super! Assez difficile de faire une belle couche uniforme, mais avec de la pratique on y arrive. J’ai hâte de l’installer sur mon ilot de cuisine!
