Great quality and great price
The jars came well packaged to ensure they didn’t break. You definitely get what you pay for. They are a thicker glass with a lid that seals well.

Work great!
I used the entire box and every one of them sealed. The jars are so cute for gifts. I don't love the black labels but you can always get other labels.

Can replace solid lid with ring and lid for canning if preferred....
I bought these on an overstock special reduction. Write up says they are borosilicate glass and if so, they will be stronger than typical glass and withstand greater temperature extremes. I just needed small jars and for my use the one piece lids work just fine. For canning, ring lids might be better, and can be purchase separately, even at a local store. Bought two boxes and they were well packaged with none broken in shipping.

Good for canning
I only gave 4 stars because some of the 1 piece lids didn’t fit. Some were slightly cross threaded and just would not go on the jars.Other than that, the jars are great.

The lids are ridiculous
The jars themselves are fine and met the need I had for them.The lids however were just ridiculous in that they just do not want to fit.If you hit the threads just right they will screw down and seal to prevent spillage.It is tantamount to a miracle to hit the threads right, and when you do not the lid will cross thread and leak. In addition to leaking, the lid will be stuck so hard that the mythical Hercules would sruggle to get the lid back off.I tried some regular lids from Ball mason jars and they went right on first try. So if you have lids you will be ok. Then again, you shouldn't have to provide your own lids. The ones that come with should work.Do not recommend. Try another brand or option, but not these.
