The Odyssey

about a half dozen pages in the middle (119-126) of the book were published upside down, some even having the last line cut off which isn’t very useful as i needed this book for university. the font is also very small and very hard to read

ART STORIA edition is the best!

I ordered this book for a college course I'm taking and I was very surprised to find the gods in Homer's The Odyssey were referred to as their Roman names, not their traditional Greek names. That's an issue for me because Homer is Greek, so naturally the story's gods are referred to by their Greek names. Also, there's a lot of punctuation errors in this book. Random quote marks, commas at the end of sentences and messed up words are common in this book. I'd suggest looking at a different option if you're looking at ordering The Odyssey.

This is just some classical reading that I picked up for my mom because she wanted to get more into the classics. So what's to say? Well, not much really. It's the same book that I read back in college. This copy has no annotations or anything it's just the story. It's translated very well. The only real complaint that my mother has is that the text is really small. That's about it.

I should have looked at reviews but did not know there were different versions of The Odyssey. This was the first one that showed up in my Amazon results and the title/description did not indicate it was an edited version. At any rate, it was not the version my daughter needed for school.
