Have had the lamp for a little while now and I keep it on for 8 hours a day with no issues. The magnet is strong and the lamp lights up my workstation well.

Works but as others have commented the magnet is a little weak.

I had purchased a machinist light before but it was an expensive piece of junk that would not lock and hold. This light has a stronger magnet and a lighter gooseneck so it doesn't fall off. The light is a little weak for me but it definitely stays where I put it.

I needed to upgrade my light for a grinder and opted for this to get there. Unfortunately, it provides only a moderate amount of light and the neck is weak. The incandescent head I replaced provided more light than this does although the heads are the same size. The neck isn't stiff enough to keep the head still when the grinder is running so it requires frequent adjustment. For a small job light, maybe this is OK but for real task work it doesn't measure up.

Using this on a machine tool and it sticks very well on any iron/steel metal surface, even upside down on a machine that is vibrating. The light is bright, and narrowly focused so best for spot work like mill, drill, lathe or benchtop.

Strong magnet, works great on my bench grinder. Plenty bright

The magnet is just strong enough. The light is just bright enough. It is a good value for this magnetic light. It shipped from China so it took a while to show up, but for the price it was worth the wait.

Light weight, so the magnet actually holds pretty well (though the magnet was glued-in askew in the base of the unit I got). The ac plug housing feels like it’s empty, but there is actually a tiny little isolating power supply inside it that can surprisingly operate on low voltage dc (if anyone was at all curious).

This is the perfect small portable light to use around the shop.It's quite bright and the magnet is great for use on stationary tools.

Bought this light for my bandsaw, to provide better light. Magnetic and sticks to bandsaw. Versatile can use for a lot of things.

The light does perform as expected with 1 major issue, the led light bulb can't be replaced when it wears out, making this a throw away lamp. I am very dissapointed to discover this and wish it had been part of the items description, if it had I would have choosen a different light.

The light has a powerful magnet and is very bright. I’m buying one for each of my machines.
