MACMILLAN False Impression

Good quality used book.
Bought this for my Mum's birthday. Was a little worried that it might not be good enough quality as it was marked as "Used" but I had nothing to worry about as it looks like new. I don't read Jeffrey Archer myself so can't say if it's a good story but Mum's happy and that's all that counts. Job done!

Archer the best novelist I have ever read
Jeffrey Archer deserves a booker Prize his stories are the most spellbinding never leave one bored and wanting to skip descriptions, one reads every word and can`t put the book down, he has the most imagination of any author better than any other I have read and I have read many

Bit... bland, but otherwise OK
False Impression was lacking a little something that would stir my senses. It is a well-written book but it is not a great book as the plot is predictable and there are no twists and turns (everything falls nicely into place.) Certainly good for passing the time whilst travelling or as a bedtime read. It is not a book I am likely to re-read to try to get more understanding of the characters and situations because there wasn't much depth to it. I can't give it any less than 4 stars, however, because Mr Archer's writing is still good. I guess you'll have to read it and form your own opinion. :)

Always love Jeffrey Archer, he always comes up trumps, with twists and turns, exciting, Like the theme of two boys (or girls) it doesn't matter which, one rich one poor their lives intertwine

It is a very current event - i e 9/11 - which surprised me
The book, as always with Jeffrey Archer, is exciting, pace of events are fast and accurate (as far as I know, and I learnt a lot about the art world and collectors and the famous auctions which take place. Again I couldn't put it down until I FNISHED IT.
